Excellent news Coach K! Hopefully I made up some lost ground on my recruiting. Approximate time?

I'd guess around 8-10 Central would be the window.

Had another great game last night, this time against the more talented Illini team that had a great day running behind their top RB. I switched to the 4-2-5 for this game trying to get more speed and athleticism on the field to match up with them and help against the pass. Well that was great in theory and worked great against the passing game but I was very vulnerable in the running game and in the end that is what beat me.
I couldn't get them off the field when I needed a stop and their defense was just good enough to keep me from scoring a couple times late. My passing game played very well and I may have to go to more of a passing offense because my running game just isn't getting it done as well as I had hoped.
Looks like there was a couple other close wins by users so hopefully the Heisman experience was as good for them as it is for me in all the games I've played with it.

I'm sure it will be. I have another ass-beatin' to receive, but hopefully I will be able to enjoy the goodness of heisman next week.

Fyi, I'm in another coaching dynasty that uses AA with some sliders. I'm CMU and I played FAU, and boy were those sliders tough. The interactions were actually good too. The only problem was the super-jumps the cpu was doing. I lost by 5 points, but sometimes it felt like I was getting beaten up and down the field. Great tackling.

North Texas topped IU last night with a late TD. IU had taken the lead with just a couple minutes left, but North Texas' passing offense is proving to be more solid than originally predicted and was able to move the ball downfield and take the lead with around 30 seconds left. It was a back and forth game throughout.
UNT had a 20-17 lead, but IU's offense couldn't be stopped as they scored to make it 24-20. That is when UNT went exclusively to the passing game due to the clock and due to IU stuffing the UNT running game which has been less than impressive this season.
UNT was able to hang with the IU passing game, but got gashed on the ground at times by the larger IU OL.

So what are your thoughts on Heisman after that game AustinWolv?

Seemed entirely believable to me. It didn't seem ridiculous and didn't notice anything that had me calling BS. I enjoyed it.

Holy moly! EMU loses today to Penn State 55-53. EMU got off to a decent start with a couple of field goals and a touchdown. But PSU bounced back with their running game. Anytime PSU would start pullling away, my passing game exploded. Three school game records were toppled with Alex Gillet throwing for 511 yards and 6 TD's. A lot of the catching was done by Kinsman Thomas who set a school game record of 263 yards receiving. Our running game was just about obsolete, but it did help our passing game. The game came down to the wire, and all we needed was to complete a 2 pt. conversion to tie it up and possibly go into OT(TD with like 35 seconds left). The conversion was no good, and we had to watch the rest of the time tick off.
I uploaded a couple of cool vids, two from EMU and one from PSU. Should be some entertainment for you guys. The third video was from the last seconds TD pass.
I run a 3-4 defense, but it didn't work at all against UofM who went pass happy on me. So I used a normal nickel and a 3-3-5 in this game. It kept their passing in check, but they ran all over me. They had some great blocking, and my team lost their discipline multiple times with shotty tackling and a missed sack that ended in a TD.
I'm good with Heisman. If I could do that, but also get blown out if I'm not making proper adjustments(UofM game), we are right where it needs to be. Good amount of plays, the PSU game had high scoring and a lot of yards because for some reason, I was able to exploit their secondary with multiple shotgun formations. I got lucky multiple times on defense and offense, and that is the biggest reason I stayed in it. That, plus some well designed blitzes.

Sounds like a great game, all 4 of the games played thus far this week have been very tight hard fought games and that makes it fun win or lose.

Yeah... it gets boring losing by 60 or easily beating opponents. That was fun all the way through! I was going nuts the whole game. I have never had that much fun coaching, ever. I really had hope! And the crushing feeling at the end was great too.

Same with me man, I had the Illinois game won at the end but couldn't convert in a couple key situations late and then couldn't stop them. It was close and fun all they way like your game.
I've got UConn next week which should be another loss but I'm really hoping to pull one out and get back on the winning track going into conference play.

If your team plays like mine did, you will probably pull it out. Finding their weakness early, and setting them up for those plays will do it!

Sorry for getting my game in late. My lovely wife has been dreadfully sick the last couple of days. Got it done last night though.

It's weird because I see a score from him game this week but no story or anything so I don't know what's going on.

Hmmmmm watch out for that. If he did all his stuff and it's not green-lighted, it could bring a freeze. Gotta get him on to re-update all the info until it's green if that is the case.

Our last freeze had Jmiles that way. I'm sure he got all his stuff done too.

It's all good. Just some left over time in recruiting. As for the game and stats, I did my game via the supersim on the web, and for some reason it apparently does not record stats or auto-generate a story after the game.
