Well, I haven't looked at NIU's ratings but I imagine NIU is one of the weaker opponents this week so you have the best chance; second choice was ASU at Illinois but didn't want to be a homer. Now we'll see whether or not the user poll actually thinks you have a chance or not.

Well not that WMU would beat BIG BLUE but man that was tough.

I'd have 3rd and 7 and throw a pass over the middle to my TE for a 9 yard gain, wide open and he'd drop it.

3rd and 3, 5 yard pass to my WR he'd get hammered and drop the pass.

3rd and 1 from the 2 yardline, did a HB Draw scored a TD but was called back for holding.

My QB is actually ok, it's just my guys drop the ball, they will be wide open hits them in the face and they drop it, or they catch it then get hammered and drop the ball, seems like some of them should be fumbles but it just calls them incomplete.

Oh well, didn't fair so well, 57-10 BIG BLUE slapped us around, put the 2nd string in, half way through the 4th to get them some PT.

I'm going to have to talk to the conditioning coach in our coaches meeting, we lost our starting HB for 8 weeks with an abdominal strain, and our starting WR for 11 weeks with a torn Hamstring...

Coach Johns plays a bend don't break D, but comes home with an L. Some how though I didn't get to play D on their game winning drive. But if anyone can be satisfied win a loss, I guess this would be one. (I'm not satisfied thou lol) gave up 400 yards but only 24 points.

I'm just going to throw this out there....it seems like the reason we did the OC/DC thingy is to keep from being the HC....right? Seems like this is pushing the envelope. Sure there are times I'd rather go for it, but being that I'm the OC and the HC out ranks me, it seems like ultimately it's not my call. Maybe if I work my way up to HC then, it would be ok.

Taking advantage of an AI situation seems kinda shadey.

Just my 2 cents.

Just my 2 cents.I agree... there's not a great way to really completely police this but obviously if I see folks having multiple fourth down attempts, then I'll at least have to ask you about it. That said, I had several myself legitimately today when I was down in the fourth quarter.

Let's just not use the no huddle tactic... that's really not what it's designed for.

Completely agree. While the game was still close my HC decided against going for 4th and 1 twice last night. While I'm not the offensive coordinator I think this would put me at a disadvantage if others started running no huddle.

Army & North Texas remain. JB said that he'd play his game "in a minute" about an hour ago... hopefully will be completed soon. fsuprime is also not marked ready but he said that he's completed recruiting.

Army had a good game going trailing only 13-7 with under a minute to go in the half. Unfortunately the Army defense gave up a TD in that last minute of the half and then gave up another TD to open the 3rd quarter to make the hole much much bigger at 27-7. The Army passing game tried to get them back in the game, but in the end it was too much to recover from, losing 34-14.
