Missed extra points after touchdown

I'm playing Dynasty as the Offensive Coordinator for Marshall. It seems like at least once a game, sometimes twice, we miss the extra point after a touchdown. As the offensive coordinator, I don't get to kick these because they are always simulated.

It also seems like we miss them at pretty "convenient" times, such as, the other team scored two field goals and then I score a touchdown, but miss the extra point (to tie the game at 6-6).

I really wish that this could be patched. This also seems to happen a lot in Road to Glory too where I'm a HB. I'm playing with Michigan, so that might be a little more realistic of their special teams... heh.

In one of the Online Dynasties that I'm in currently with 4 members our kickers are 113-117 on extra points. I thought they were much worse then that but this doesn't look bad at all.

I agree, with NMSU I have had more than my share of XP missed. My biggest complaint is them missing the easy FG's when it would have helped up greatly.

I'm neutral on all of this, though curious. But which would you guys prefer? Making every extra point and chip shot field goal automatic makes, or missing a field goal or extra point here and there, even if they seem to occur rather frequently at times?

I know in past NCAA games, there was never a single missed extra point, and any field goals inside 40 yards were guaranteed. This year, I have actually missed 2 or 3 extra points over 5 games in my offline dynasty, and my kicker, who has 80 power and 75 accuracy, is far from 100% accurate, having missed a couple of field goals from inside the 30 or 40 yard line, exactly as it should be.

I think we should be seeing this as long as it doesn't go way to far I'm all for missing an xp here or there. To be honest unless you watch the kick during a sim play you don't know if it was blocked or not which could be the case.

Yeah, the reason I bring that up, is because with EA and past games, it seems to be one or the other. Either every XP and FG inside a certain range is 100% automatic no matter what, unless you intentionally shank it to the side or kick it short, or you end up only making 50% of your XPs and FGs.

I would certainly rather have it where XPs or FGs are being missed now and then. Also, for those who are thinking it's happening too often, or it actually is happening way too often, mess around with the kicking sliders a bit, and that should help out the issue.

Funny - I'm actually OC at Marshall for my Dynasty as well. Ran into a bit of the same problem - I now just choose the watch play (R1 on PS3) option for the extra points instead of direct sim and haven't missed an XP since. Go Herd (and Go Blue!)

I'd rather see a missed XP here and there. My guess is the kicker is horrible....bad CPU kickers missed a fair share of XP's last year.

First question is how far along are you in your dynasty. Second is what was the other teams kicker ratings. Im 5 years in my dynasty and bc's kicker missed 3 xp last night. Does anyone remember the kicker issues last year? They are here again as soon as more people begin to get farther along in their dynasty you will see the same issue from last year.

I missed a couple in my first few games as an OC. Since then, I have watched them all and haven't missed. I'm not sure if it's coincidence.
