Week 2 against Michigan State.

The Spartans lit me up in the towards the end of the fiorst half with some real good pass plays that caught the Owls defense off-guard. However, after the "pep-talk" during half-time, the Owls came back to actually take the lead 24-21 in the third.

Unfortunately, the Owls had no answer for Cousins and the Spartans running game. In the end, Mich State was just too much for the Owls.

Sometimes I just hate this game.... I knew I would lose, but sometimes the things you see are just *you gotta be friggin kiddin me!!!*

Posted some video highlights up on the dynasty site. I have one video and a photo progression that shows my DB clearly in line to make an interception. The ball hits the DB's arms and bounces backwards into the arms of AUB's TE. The game was shear frustration at best. My QB ends up hurt after throwing 5 INT's and being sacked 7 times. The other video shows the "I can jump higher than the world and speed up" woes.

ULL had the lead with 2 mins left in the game. The Owls were able to come back and take the lead with :16 sec left in regulation. A very solid win for FAU!

This was a game for the ages!!!!

At the end of the third qtr, the score was WKY 31, FAU 24. It was truly a defensive struggle until 3:08 remaining in the 4th as the Owls kicked a FG.

Still down by 4, the Owls defense held and with :19 left in the game, Kooi finds Hankerson streaking down the left sideline and connects for the go ahead touchdown (video highlight on the dynasty site).

Western Kentucky caught the squib kick and looked like they were going to accomplish a miracle, until the Owls Defense came up with a huge sack/fumble which resulted in a TD at the end of regulation (video on the dynasty site).

Really good win after a dismal start.

Lost with 2 seconds left, 20-19... Really painful loss and totally pissed at the AI. I have never seen players get back to the line of scrimmage as fast as I saw MTSU during their drive with under a minute left so they could spike the ball.

Yep, got our asses handed to us. Just an unbelievable game to sit through. Try was on fire from the start and never slowed down. Well, at least we are getting closer to the end of the season. Maybe we can redeem ourselves against UAB and ULM in the coming weeks.
