Road to Glory Glitches: Wrong game, play-calling

EDIT: Just found a bigger glitch in RTG.

Like I said, Im at Virginia Tech. Week 4, sophomore year. My schedule says Im playing at Clemson, while the menu says im playing at Boston College. I load the game up and the loading menus are showing Eastern Michigan @ Ball State!!!!!!

I go into the game and its Eastern MI at Ball State. It sims through the game completely because my player is on neither of the these teams. Then the game freeze when done simming the game.

Dont know if this has been mentioned yet, but Im sure it has been somewhere.

Im Virginia Tech and im losing a game 17-10. I get the ball back to set up a game tying drive. Im the QB.

1:07 left on the clock

-First down, incomplete pass.
-Second down, 37 yard pass for a first down.
-First down, 5 yard pass on a HB Screen.
-Second down, they take me out of the game and PUNT THE BALL, other team takes a knee to win.

Once it happens one time during a game, it happens on every 2nd down that follows.

Just when I found something enjoying to do while I wait on the roster glitch to be fixed, this happens. I HATE THE NCAA TEAM. THEY CANNOT PRODUCE A PLAYABLE GAME FROM RELEASE.

When will I be able to pay $60 to actually play an NCAA Football game.

We pay $60, to test the game. EA should give this game away for free since we have to do so much work to test it, then wait for it to be fixed later.

Just saw another game killing bug where recruits tendencies are changing from recruiting screens to roster screens. Must be related to the roster glitch.

Im now laughing at some of the glitches Im seeing in the OS thread. Nessler saying the Liberty bowl is in Nashville, weather inside the Big 10 title game in Lucas oil stadium... Jesus

Last year NCAA Football 11 Release Date: July 13 also had release day patch #1

patch #2 Release Date: August 11

patch #3 Release Date: September 9

4 Tuning Packs Released throughout the game

There are a lot more problems with this game, so it looks like it's going to be a while be for the game is playable.

The games real release date is mid-August after the first patch. And that really all depends on what the patch breaks as well.

My guess is that the first patch will fix rosters and break the defense. Write it down.

This is a legit glitch/bug in the game and yet people say that were whining about it? I thought we as a coumminty are supposed to help each other by finding glitches/bugs and let our voices be heard, and hopefully someone at EA will hear. Its not whining, its posting a legit defect in the game.

Its legit because it did happen. Doesn't matter if it happens to 1 person or thousands. The fact that it can happen makes it worth of notice. Ive read where it has happend to others also. It wont stop me from playing the mode because it hasnt happend to me.

I can also confirm that this is an issue, I saw this quite early (post first patch, of course) when playing RTG. The coach will call a punt on 2nd or 3rd down typically with less than a minute to go before the half. I can post a video or photo like Gatorbait06NC if the mods want, but I believe his screenshots adequately cover the issue

I actually had this happen to me yesterday as well. Seems to happen when choosing to watch the play instead of simming it, but I need to get into that situation again and try the opposite to make sure.

I actually haven't played much more of RtG mode since. I might get a few more games in today and see if I can recreate the situation.

I wanted to post a few of the issues I've seen in the RTG mode.

Last night was the first time I saw the punt bug. 26 seconds left in the first half and I had the ball on the 6 going in. My coach called a punt. I called a timeout. That enabled me to actually run a play on 2nd down, but then he called a punt again on 3rd down. I was out of timeouts so I actually punted the ball from the 6 yard line.

I've also seen numerous times where I'm not allowed to control my player. I am on the field and can watch the play, but it doesn't allow me to control anything. The first time this happend to me was in overtime of a game. It wouldn't let me control my player (QB) for the first three plays. Then it turned control over to me on 4th and 13. Thanks EA. This actually happens to me about 4 or 5 times a game.
