Blue Raiders' pull off an upset defeating Georgia Tech 28-23. MTSU put up 336 offensive yards, 158 on the ground, 178 in the air. Jeff Murphy went 16/26 for 178 yards 2 TDs 1 Int, 10 carries 6 yards. D D Kyles rushed for 104 yards 1 TD on 22 carries.

I get a bye week before play @ Troy for my first conference game.

ULM bounces back after their embarrassing opener at Florida State by downing the Golden Falshes of Kent State 24-17. The Warhawks found themselves down 17-3 after the first quarter but clawed their way back into the game by playing mistake free football.

Kolton Browning led the offensive attack for the Warhawks by going 18-37 for 234 yds, one touchdown and two interceptions. Browning would also rush for 69 yards and a touchdown in the win. Browning spread the ball around the field hitting numerous receivers. His lone touchdown came on an 80+ yard screen pass to tailback Edwards late in the third quarter to knot the score at 17-17. Edwards would provide the winning touchdown later in the fourth on a three yard run to seal the deal.

ULM improves to 1-1 on the year as they venture to Texas to take on the Horned Frogs of TCU.

Akron pulls a win out of their asses against Temple, 35-31 behind the arm of Junior QB Patrick Nicely, who threw for 361 yards on 25-34 passing.

Sitting at 1-1 now, Akron has maybe 4 more winnable games for the year, with the next game coming up against the Cincinnati Bearcats.

Tulane just got destroyed by Tulsa. Defense is a concern, but feel pretty good on offense; just have to figure out how to not get sacked 7 times!! Lol fun game tho

utah state's defensive coordinator should be fired! how in the world can he let washington fricken state drive down on him with 2:08 left in the game to score the go-ahead td with 38 seconds left? not only that, he gives up 20 points in the 4th quarter alone. :bang::mad:

how am i supposed to win 6 games in one season, when my d-coordinator has the IQ of a dumbass?

you must mix up the play calling.... i want to run the ball every down but you cant do that this year even if you are an option team...the computer adjusts and gets tough.... mix it up big time... have a good flood play to beat zone and have a good crossing route play to beat man...then use 2 audibles int he same formation - one run right - one run left...you want to be able to run RT, LT, and up the gut [usually the built in run audible] to have a three headed running attack

I can tell you right now I'm going to have to have chew clock on the whole game. I had chew clock on the entire 2nd half of my game and I still got off 63 plays for almost 600 yards of offense. Hell, the CPU had 51 plays for over 500 yards of offense. :D

I just have to do my recruiting and I'll be done.

I was ahead 35-0 at halftime against FCS Southwest. Simmed the second half as I saw JBHuskers online waiting to advance (and I was last up). Thanks for the invite, fellas. Now to turn these boys into contenders. LOL!!!
