GnarlyMutt, Natcret (who is out of town until Thursday), and myself. And that's because this POS game won't allow my accepting my invite from Coach Kernzy to go through. Every time I click accept, it kicks me out to the main menus, tells me the transfer failed, and a pop up shows up that says "Unable to finish accepting Online Dynasty invite at this time. Please try again later."

I have even tried to join the dynasty just by searching it and joining via the "Join Dynasty" option in the OD section. However, the password that Coach Kernzy messaged me on Xbox Live is apparently incorrect, as I have tried multiple times and it keeps telling me invalid password.

Me and Coach Kernzy are trying a couple things. He changed the password, but it still told me Invalid Password. I told Coach to try setting the dynasty to Public instead of Private for a few minutes, see if it'll let me in that way.

EA has screwed us again, Smooth can't get in with an invite, can't get on with a changed password and can't get on even if I set the OD to public.
So the only thing we can think to do is delete and recreate the OD again. I'm sorry guys, I know this a pain the ass and believe me I'm way more frustrated at the whole ordeal than you guys. EA is making me look like a poor commish here.
I'm going to get it recreated and send out a new invite within the next hour or so.
Again I'm sorry guys but there is no other way because I'm sure not going to wait on EA tech support to help.

Guys, I'm sorry. For whatever reason, myself and Coach Kernzy thinking it's an issue on EA's end, once I resigned from the dynasty the first time due to ending up as FIU's OC instead of HC for whatever reason, the game refuses to let me back in. I tried to join with three different invites, tried joining from the "Join Dynasty" search menus with two different passwords, and tried joining from the "Join Dynasty search menus with the dynasty set to public. Nothing worked.

When Coach Kernzy told me he was going to restart, I told him not to. I said if it kept refusing to let me in, I'd just resign my position in the league, as I didn't want to be responsible for another restart. I'm already responsible for the first restart due to everything with changing from that first set of rosters Coach Kernzy was using, and instead waiting for Fairdale King's rosters. I absolutely didn't want to be responsible for yet another restart because of this issue.

But, Coach Kernzy insists on restarting the OD, and nothing I say is changing his mind, so I've accepted it. I still want to apologize though for being the reason that we've restarted this thing twice now. Sorry everyone. :(

Well, if we aren't heading to the first week until Thursday we can keep restarting over and over, it really doesn't matter much then. I just hope we land on a dynasty that will have at least one 3 star interested in me haha. The first one did. The second one didn't. The pre-season recruiting is a long, drawn-out process for me and probably some others, but not a biggie. Excellent practice!

Oh trust me, I know it's going to be painful. I don't even get to play until week 2 thanks to FIU having a bye week the first week of the season, so I have a looong wait before I get to finally play. :D

I know red-shirting is important, but since I'm not sticking around long at EMU, I really didn't care to do any red-shirting. I just left everyone on. There was really only one or two for me that would've been worth it anyhow.

Looks like it was my retiring my coach due to the OC/HC issue, and for some reason, the OD wouldn't accept my invitation and allow me back in. Maybe it was just that way until we advanced a week and then I would be able to rejoin or something. But whatever the reason, I was able to get in on this new one, so I'm all good to go.

Yeah, of the possible players I could have redshirted, it would have been stupid to do so. Everyone single position with a senior starting, there was a minimum of a 7-10 overall difference between the senior/starter's rating, and the guy second on the depth chart. So no way am I redshirting anyone. I want to actually have good players on the field this season, not saving them for next season, when I might not even be around anymore at FIU.

I vote that we do not wait. Chances are that he will not redshirt many at all to make a real difference anyways. Plus, He will most likely accept a new position before he see's the benefit of the redshirt. No offense to Natcret but I would not expect everyone to wait for me just for red-shirting purposes.

I really don't think redshirting is a big deal either with these schools because any good players we have will need to be on the field and his recruiting board can be set how he likes in week 1 and should affect anything much

Mine just sucks because I basically get NOTHING for actually completing my contracts. It's like, thanks for being awesome, now do it for 3 years instead of 1, and let me kick you while you're down.

I was running some simulations with recruiting and coaching and found that with coaching, if you want to stay a few years with your nub school, you are going to need a large enough contract. I have a 2 year with easy to accomplish goals. I've ran a few 1 year coach sims and was fired everytime, even with EMU winning 5 games. I also checked out what happens after you get fired, and sometimes there are still 2-star opportunities for OC and DC, I even got a chance at a HC 2star job and lost out though. I also got offered a job as HC for Iowa State, which even though they suck, they have a lot better ratings than most of our schools.

I know what you mean man. The longest wait was rosters, then when we finally got them and were able to get going, natcret was already gone. So now it's stop and wait for him to get back. But, that's fine. I mean, we do want to give everyone equal opportunity in the preseason and not have someone feeling like they got screwed out of a chance to set everything how they want it. But, at least it's a short wait now. Regardless of natcret, we had to wait for AustinWolv, so we would have still been waiting until last night/this morning no matter what. With only two days until natcret comes back, definitely makes sense to just have a little patience and wait it out.

If you're looking for something to do, go do a Road to Glory career or start up an offline dynasty. I'm doing an Ironman Road to Glory right now, 4 games left to play in my high school season. And I have a single player FIU online dynasty going on as well. So those are doing pretty well keeping me busy.

Then, take into account to get around that, I play a QB and then I get totally fucked by the CPU thinking my WRs on my team have fuckin' stone hands. I've never seen so many dropped balls in my life. It was BEYOND frustrating to be a Pocket Passer QB and watch drive after drive stall because my WRs can't catch a fuckin' cold. :smh:

I will agree with you there. They really need to rework the CPU playcalling for RtG. Some of the plays are just stupid. It's 3rd and 14, and the coach calls a run play. :fp:
