Sliders/Settings Discussion Thread

In the past we have always played either 7-8 minute quarters in the GBN to get realistic play totals. We have also traditionally played on Heisman difficulty with adjusted sliders.

If anyone has any slider/setting suggestions we should try out please post them here.

I'll be on the lookout this weekend for some and hopefully we can get a decent set in fairly short order and get started soon.

Steelerfan appears to have a very good set going here at TGT. I played :Duke: @ :Indiana: last night and lost on a last second field goal. Try these out and see what you think.

Quick question - are you going 9 minute quarters purely for the CC? We will change once we get to be HCs?

I think 8 min Quarters may be the way to go period. I like these sliders but the scores have been a touch high low 40s high 30s and I'd prefer them to be in the low 30s high 20s in most games. I think if you play with these sliders on 8 min quarters that will be what you will get most of the time.

Tried these sliders with 8 minute quarters. Nevada vs. Nevada in a dome. Played about as perfectly as I've ever seen. Close scores throughout and while Nevada's offense is a tough one to stop it ended 34-24. Not bad at all.

Looks good to me. I havent really tinkered with any sliders, so these look like a good base to go on.
