Rumored Arkansas State uniform changes...


next year the team is going to flat black helmets, getting new white jerseys with claw marks on the shoulders instead of numbers like this year and even a new techfit undershirt that has half of a wolf head on each sleeve that I think will look really good on game day next season. That's not including all the travel apparel that the team will have this year compared to the past.

I assume by "seem to notice" you mean in the game? Because I don't know how you could have been watching football coverage last year and not had those special Notre Dame helmets stuffed down your throat. Seemed like everyone was talking about them.

First off, welcome to the site!

Unfortunately, Georgia asked for the black uni combo to be removed as they do not plan on wearing them again in the near future. :(

I believe the ND Shamrock helmet will be in the game, or at least it was in one of the community event builds. Granted, schools still have to give final approval for any and all team-specific changes the dev team wants to put in the game (stadium, field art, uniforms, etc.) so don't take it for being in until we see it in the retail version.

Unless Nike/Missouri gave EA early access to their uniforms (happens sometimes), they will not be in the game until there is some sort of uniform update, which we have heard mentions of but no specifics yet.

Oh...that sucks.Eh ... yes and no. It means all the other Pro Combat jerseys are either in game or coming with the demo. It also means you're not faced with the decision of picking one set of jerseys over another.

Of course, I say this knowing that I was always going to be getting it from Amazon. My mood would be a lot different if, like past years, Gamestop or another retailer had that pre-order bonus and Amazon did not. If you're not an Amazon fan, it could suck (though since Amazon is also selling it for $45, that's hard to pass up).

i really want to get my hands on these uniforms, although i am a baylor fan. i probably won't play as much with Baylor this year, now that RG3 is gone. I wish he would of stayed. But does have a bad medical history of tearing acl's and mcl's soo..idk.

With Maryland:
I know there's like 500 jerseys this year but there’s a couple of changes.

In the 2009 season we did Wounded Warrior jerseys. We updated them in the 2010 season. The game didn't have the 2010 jerseys when those looked much more awesome. I like them almost as much as the maryland pride jerseys.

In a nutshell the changes are:

All white lettering/detail is replaced with digital camouflage
The helmet went from white to black (all black look), with the Terps lettering still in camo.
Special camouflage cleats as well
Camouflage on arms and black on shoulders are switched. Now black arms with camouflage shoulders
There is a camouflage stripe going down the side of the jersey and continues down the pants

Also, one thing that was left out of Maryland's entrance in 2012, two players run out with flags. One has a Maryland Flag. The other the American Flag. They hold them and are similar in size to the Texas entrance in 2012. Couldn't find pictures where they have both but I found one of each.

what I find interesting though is that the way the logo is facing I would have that on the other side of the helmet and then on the side you see, the jolly Roger head would be flipped because its as if he is looking back and not forward

I'm not a fan of the grey uniforms or the shoulder caps myself. However, we originally wore white helmets for around 16 years until '52 so I'm fine with that throwback aspect of them. I highly doubt they will get worn that much either. We've had red pants with our last three sets covering the last 6 years and I think we've only actually worn them 6 times so even when we have the option they don't mix it up a large amount.

As of now, yes. Previous pro-combats weren't offered as DLC so roll the dice if you want.
