Has anyone played this? I was watching a friend who was broadcasting on Justin.tv and she was playing this game on one monitor, looked pretty sweet, so I went to Steam and purchased it for $5. It's like a combination of Galaga and Rock Band. Addictive, as it uses whatever music you have stored on the computer.

It's pretty damn cool, but doesn't handle most of the music I listen to very well.

For a music game, give me Beat Hazard any day! Great game... also available on XBLA. Haven't tried the DLC for it yet... supposed to be good.

I can't decide if that's absolutely insane ... or the best idea I've ever seen.

Right now, during their "Summer Camp Sale", you can get Beat Hazard on Steam for $5 (http://store.steampowered.com/search/?snr=1_4_4__12&term=beat+hazard). The DLC which adds two-player co-op (not sure if online or local only) and new bosses, weapons, etc. is only $2.50 additional.

I honestly don't know why the Metascore is only 70... it's extremely hard to find a knock on this game other than possibly saying it's repetitive, though each song you play generates a different lineup and pacing of enemies, etc.

Actually the whole package is only $6.50

DLC by itself is $2.50 but there is an entire package for cheaper altogether.
