OK, the rosters were completely named on Sunday. We didnt finalize every team at the time of naming them. The idea was to get each team named completely, then make the corrections. Along the way of naming, we removed robot arms from lineman and all dreads.

Buckeye has had to go back to his job, so now its me doing the edits. To speed up the process, I have asked the community for some help regarding their favorite team. Im only going to fool with templates that lay things out simple and easy enough to make the whole process go at a faster rate.

THINGS I NEED/NO MORE FULL TEMPLATES ARE NEEDED
-75 overall ratings templates from each position. QB through P. That way Ill have a base template to recreate players with. I will play with each player to adjust the ratings to where they need to be for that specific players
-Lists of players on the default roster that are no longer on the team and players that they can be made into. NOTE: Keep in mind that I cant make a lineman into a smaller guy because the arms stay way too huge. Try to keep it logical, LB to HB, QBs to RB, WR, or DBS, OL to DL, or vice versa
-Number changes, IF THEY CAN BE DONE! Let me know if I have to steal a number from a TRUE FR that has no assigned # yet.
-MAJOR DEPTH CHART CHANGES ONLY. We try to get the starting QBs right.
-Class fixes, weight fixes of more than 20 lbs, and skin color fixes.
-DREADS. I have a huge dread thread to go through, but feel free to throw any in with a list.

I dont care if the team you submit is your favorite team or not as long as youre dedicated enough to do it right!

They made very prominent and well known rosters before. At least for NCAA 11 ... I believe I used their rosters on NCAA 10 as well, if my memory isn't wrong.

Do you guys make or do edits? My cousins and I have been mixing in playing the game today along with naming the rosters with no edits. Acc finished! It'll take some time to get rosters updated this year from what we've seen.

We should have the game sometime this afternoon and be able to get started tonight. I decided to start a thread here, since OS banned me along time ago for no particular reason.

I will update this post with all needed info as soon as we have the game in hand.

Yeah I woke up one morning last week and saw I was banned too. I have absolutely no idea why either, e-mailed whoever 3 times with no response. Screw 'Em it's a buncha 8 year olds anyway. GAMING TAILGATE LeGO!

GatorBait, once completed, would you be interested in letting us post your roster information our Roster page (http://www.thegamingtailgate.com/forums/content.php?2-Rosters)? We use that page as a way to spread publicity about free rosters for the community. Let me know any thoughts and we can get something setup.

gschwendt, yes most definately. Post away. Id like to get it spread around as well.

Yeah, I posted at OS during 1 time of the year and that is while doing rosters. Thats all I post about. I post during the week we do rosters and dont post again until its time to do rosters again. Somehow I got banned in between years. They had to answer to why they banned me and basically told me to get over. I was a donator and everything. Pretty low down if you ask me. They want you to come there and talk about sports and sports gaming, but will ban you instantly if you say anything they disagree with. Its like Nazi Germany over there. Why buckeye still insists on putting our roster thread over there is beyond me.

Does anyone know if there is a thread to post corrections for the NCAA developmental team?? Whether its on this site or not. Im kind of bummed that Florida has blue cleats instead of Orange, it was right last year, so leave it to EA to screw it up. Im assuming that is has something to do with Floridas "team color" in player customization being blue this year instead of orange like last year. Why cant NCAA has a secondary team color like every other sports game ever. Florida players wear ORANGE cleats, NOT blue.

Time for an update. Teams that I know we have completed are:

-All Big 10 teams(Illionois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Nebraska, Ohio State, Minnesota, Penn State, Wisconsin, & Purdue)
-Several SEC teams(Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, & Alabama) Auburn, Ole Miss, Georgia, & Miss State are complete on paper.
-Texas A&M
Pittsburgh
-Clown College (aka Florida State)
-FAU, FIU, UL Monroe.
-All the Coaches are also done. There are 360 coaches total.

Currently working on the Big East.

The process has sped up a ton and once the game is out for everyone, we will be asking for help with someones favorite team only.

I will post a template of how we want people to send us teams.

Here are some corrections just based off what Teambuilder has for Arizona:

-There is no sophomore #12 QB on the roster. It's up to you, but you could change him to freshman QB #9 Daxx Garman.

-Bryson Beirne, QB #17, should be switched to #7, & from a junior to a senior.

-Matt Scott, QB #4, should be switched to #10.

-Freshman HB #25 is Ka'Deem Carey.

-Freshman HB #28 could be switched to #5 Jared Baker.

-There is no WR #7. He could be switched to WR #11 Tyler Slavin.

-WR #19 is no longer on the team. He should be switched to WR #16 Garic Wharton, who is slated to be the starting KR/PR.

-WR #89 should be switched to #29 Austin Hill.

-Freshman TE #80 should be switched to #87 Drew Robinson.

-TE #87 should be switched to WR #18 Terrance Miller.

-LE #98 should be switched to #89 Dame Ndiaye.

-LE #48 should be switch to senior #28 C.J Parish (starter).

-LE #58 is no longer on the team.

-LOLB #59 should be switched to #19 Hank Hobson.

-There is no MLB #53 on the roster.

-ROLB #55 should be switched to #21 Dominique Petties.

-ROLB #50 should be switched to #44 Rob Hankins.

-FS #32 should be switched to DB Lyle Brown.

-SS #37 should be switched to #25 Josh Robbins.

-SS #38 should be switched to senior #43 Adam Gottschalk.

-P #17 should be switched to #13 Kyle Dugandzic.

Big thanks for doing the rosters. I got banned over at OS too so I'm glad you came over here. I never got an explanation of why I was banned, even after a few e-mails.

But I hope this helps with Arizona. If you need anything else let me know & thanks again.

the olemiss rosters are fairly close but there are some people left off. there are two juco DT that are left off that will fight for starting jobs. And the starting right guard is not listed. He is Matt Hall 6'7 325 from arkansas, white. Right gaurd starter. Gilbert pena is a junior DT he is 6'3 325 black from new jersey. Uriah Grant is junior DT 6'1 295 black from florida. Also Ivan Nicholos is going to be moved from safety to olb. Take josh lancaster off and in his place add Keith Lewis olb from florida black 6'2 215 freshman. But other than that it is pretty close. We will be playing alot of the freshman this year. You probably dont wont this but if it helps great. I just want to say thanks for all yall do and i look forward to your rosters each year. Thanks man and hotty toddy!

Did you finish LSU's rosters? If not, I can put up a template for you.

Qb (The game has these guys rated ZM, JJ, then JL but JJ is likely to start)
1. Jordan Jefferson #9 Sr. 6'5 224 St. Rose, La.
2. Jarret Lee #12 RSSr. 6'2 207 Brenham, Tx.
3. Zach Mettenberger #8 RSSo. 6'5 250 Watkinsville, Ga. (Number, Class & Home state are wrong)

Guys who could be added if you have room/extra bodies:
4. Jerrard Randall (# unknown, 18 may be the only option since double# are out) Fr. 6'2 190 Hollywood,Fl.
5. Stephen Rivers #16 6'7 198 Athens, Al.

HB (I swear EA doesn't watch football!!!! The starting HB is listed as the 2nd FB. The Depth Chart will likely go Ware, Ford, Gore, Blue, Hilliard, Magee)
1. Spencer Ware #11 So. 5'11 225 Cincinatti, Oh. (He is listed as FB#16 but should be the starting HB with more power but less speed than #42 Ford)
2. Michael Ford #42 RSSo. 5'10 202 Leesville, La.
3. Alfred Blue #4 So. 6'2 207 Boutte, La. (listed as #24, his old #)
4. Jakhari Gore #3 RSFr. 5'9 175 Miami, Fl. (Listed as #23, class is also wrong)
5.Kenny Hilliard #27 Fr. 5'11 225 Patterson, La.
6. Terrence Magee #14 5'9 205 Franklinton, La. (He's listed as #20 which is retired)

FB
1. James Stampley #35 Sr. 5'10 230 Baker, La.
2. J.C. Copleand #44 So. 6'1 275 LaGrange, Ga. (Should be added as he will be the starter)

WR (Only the first 2 spots on the dc are locks at this point)
1. Rueben Randle #2 Jr. 6'4 207 Bastrop, La.
2. Russell Shepard #10 Jr. 6'1 188 Houston, Tx.
3. Jarvis Landry #80 Fr. 6'0 200 Lutcher, La.
4. Kadron Boone #86 So. 6'0 202 Ocala, Fl.
5. James Wright #82 So. 6'2 197 Belle Chase, La. (should be medium skin)
6. Jarrett Fobbs #5 RSFr. 5'11 185 Shreveport, La. (class is wrong)
7. WR#81 matches the vitals of Paul Turner Fr. West Monroe, La (he is expected to take over the #21 jersey). There is actually a WR who currently wears #81, he is Armand Williams RSFr. 6'3 195 Slidell, La. At this point I'm not sure which one, if either, will see the field this year.
8. Odell Beckham #33 Fr. 5'11 175 New Orleans, La. (Listed as WR #85, should be medium skin)
9. WR #21 retired for medical reasons, body could be used for missing skill player.

TE
1.DeAngelo Peterson #19 Sr. 6'4 243 New Orleans, La.
2. Chase Clement #88 RSJr. 6'5 261 Thibodaux, La.
3. Mitch Joseph #83 RSSr. 6'5 265 New Iberia, La.-I would be very tempted to change him into one of the younger TEs:
Travis Dickson #41 RSFr. 6'3 243 Ocean Springs, Miss.
Nic Jacobs #84 RSFr. 6'5 265 Many, La.

LT
1. Chris Faulk #76 RSSo. 6'6 316 Slidell, La.
2. ?La'El Collins #78 Fr. 6'4 315 Baton Rouge, La. (Listed as LT#71, weight is off)

LG
1. Josh Dworaczyk #68 RSSr. 6'6 295 New Iberia, La.
2. Matt Branch #79 RSJr. 6'6 287 Monroe, La.
3. LG#61-The vitals don't match any incoming Fr. I'd add: Evan Washington #70 RSFr. 6'5 315 DeSoto, Tx. (Could end up as the 2nd guy here or at LT)

C
1. P.J. Lonegran #64 RSJr. 6'4 300 New Orleans, La.
2. T-Bob Herbert #53 RSSr. 6'3 280 Norcross, Ga. (Good player but likely won't start, shouldn't be highest rated on the team)

RG
1. Will Blackwell #60 RSSr. 6'4 303 West Monroe, La.
2. Josh Williford #74 RSSo. 6'7 324 Dothan, Al.
3. RG #67-closest match using Rivals is Trai Turner #63 Fr. 6'3 334 New Orleans, La.

?RT ?
1. Alex Hurst #72 RSJr. 6'6 329 Bartlett, Tenn.
2. Greg Shaw #75 Sr. 6'5 295 Hialeah, Fl. ?

RE
1. Sam Montgomery #99 RSSo. 6'4 245 Greenwood?, SC (He is the starter but is missing. He started last year but was injured and had to miss the spring)
?2. Chancey Agayahere #87 RSJr. 6'4 268 Garland, Tx. (has battled injuries, may be the 4th guy)
3. Lavar Edwards #89 RSJr. 6'5 265 Gretna, La. (Should be the 2nd best guy here)
?4. Justin Maclin #54 So. 6'4 230 Memphis, Tenn.

LE?
1. Ken Adams #94 Sr. 6'5 255 Enterprise, Al.?
2. KeKe Mingo #49 RSSo. 6'5 237 West Monroe, La.
3. Jordan Allen #98 RSFr. 6'6 252 West Monroe, La. (I would use this body to make starting LE Montgomery)
4. Jermauria Rasco #59 Fr. 6'4 240 Shreveport, La. (may be listed as #92)

DT
1. Ego Ferguson #9 RSFr. 6'3 286 Fred?erick, Md. (appears to be missing, but should be added considering may end up anywhere on the depth chart either as a starter or key reserve)
2. Mike Brockers #90 RSSo. 6'6 300 Houston, Tx (pretty much a lock to be starter)
3. Josh Downs #77 Jr. 6'1 278 Bastrop, La. (a good player but isn't 4 points ahead of next best guy, may not start)
4. Anthony Freak Johnson #56 Fr. 6'3 294 New Orleans, La. (Listed as #96 on roster, should be rated higher considering he may start and was the #1 DT by Rivals and Scout)
DT#97-Walkon who should be changed into Ferguson or Bennie Logan #93 RSSo. 6'3 280 Coushatta, La.
?DT#91 is Chris Davenport ?#91 RSSo. 6'4 311 Mansfield, La. (Switched to OL in spring, unsure where he'll play this season, I'd change him into Ferguson or Logan since both are ahead of him)

LOLB
1. Stephen Francois #23 RSSr. 6'1 215 Reserve, La.
2. Tahj Jones #58 RSSo. 6'2 205 Sulpher, La.
3. Luke Muncie #52 So. 6'3 223 Klein, Tx

Karnell Hatcher #37 Sr. 6'2 ?212 Delray, Fl. (Still listed as a FS but should be here, may start or be 2nd guy)

MLB
1. Kevin Minter #46 RSSo. 6'1 225 Suwanee, Ga.
2. D.J. Welter #31 RSFr. 6'0 226 Crowley, La.
3. LB#48 is a walkon. Turn him into Trevon Randle (claims that he was promised #4) Fr. 6'1 205 League City, Tx. Needs to be moved to ROLB. If another MLB is needed, move #57 Barrow to this spot.

ROLB
1. Ryan Baker #22 Sr. 6'0 227 Grand Ridge, Fl.
2. Lamin Barrow #57 RSSo. 6'2 221 Marrero, La.
3. Josh Johns #39 RSSo. 6'2 206 Baton Rouge, La. (Rumored to be transferring, change into SS Sam Gibson #29 RSFr. 6'1 205 Prattville, Al.)

CB
1. Morris Claiborne #17 Jr. 6'0 177 Shreveport, La.
2. Tyrann Mathieu #7 So. 5'9 180 New Orleans, La. (listed as #14)

5. David Jenkins #25 Fr. 6'1 179 Jena, La. (listed as #30)
6. Jalen ?Collins #43 Fr. 6'1 180 Olive Branch, Miss. (listed as #34)
?
FS
1. Craig Loston #6 RSSo. 6'2 200 Houston, Tx.
2. See LOLB for FS#37
3. Ronnie Vinson #28 RSFr. 5'11 187 New Orleans, La. (Could end up at CB)

SS
1. Brandon Taylor #15 S?r. 6'0 195 Franklinton, La.
2. Eric Reid #1 So. 6'2 207 Geismar, La.

K
1.Drew Alleman #30 Jr. 5'11 182 Lafayette, La. (listed as #38)

P
1. Brad Wing #38 RSFr. 6'3 175 Melbourne, Australia (went to HS in Baton Rouge, likely will be the guy but is missing)
The P listed is likely James Hairston Fr. 5'11 175 Dallas, Tx (I'm thinking RS this year)

If I counted correctly there are 68 on the default roster. To address the missing players, I'd probably do the following:

1. Make QB Randall from WR#21
2. Create FB Copeland from scratch
3. Make DE Montgomery from DE Allen
4. Make DT Ferguson from either DT#97 or DT #91
5. Make S Gibson from LB#39

Just saw the first set of rosters released for the PS3. A rushed version put out by someone with tons of errors. No skin color or dreads fixes. No missing players input and a lot of players not on teams anymore, still on the team.

Checked Florida for example, still have Javeres McRoy on team and QB Brissett's last name spelt Briskett???

If you're referring to BigWY, it's been well known that it's named changes to the default roster only so they can be used online.

I believe BigWY's rosters were meant to just have names for the positions and numbers; it was mentioned in the thread that no edits were going to be made and no depth chart fixes either. Just for people who want to have named rosters online and whatnot.

First of all, just want to say thank you so much for taking the time to make all of these edits and naming the rosters.

Not trying to rush or anything like that, just out of curiosity though, how long do you think it will take before this roster is up? I understand its going to take a while but it looks like y'all are doing really good so far. I don't want to start a real dynasty until I get a roster with good edits but I may do one just to check it out with the other named roster.

Also, I see that you have Alabama done, but if you need any help with them, I'd be more then happy to help.

Just a quick question - Will adding the transfers and removing players from the roster affect being able to use these rosters for online dynasties or play? I guess real question is will I be able to use Russell Wilson to make the badgers the dominant team

Yes they will. Any modifications to players will not be usable online.

You will be able to use them in every game mode except for Online Versus play. You can use them in an OD, the Commish just needs to have them loaded up. For Online versus games I would suggest using, BigWY's. For dynasties and other things I would use these since they are fully edited.

On some side notes, why are all the freshmen ratings so low, they are all pratically worthless except for some of the five stars, like for instance nebraska had a five star RB who is like 72 OVR or something, the number two CB in the nation is 71, number two c is like the same. all four stars are low 70s and high 60s, 3 stars are like mid to low 60s. i recruited abunch of players after my first season and the four and five stars were all like normal around the 75-80 area.

and on another side note, Give martinez more then 82 speed, drop his awareness and Throwing abilities for all i care. Also Dennard(the CB) is rated by almost everybody as the #2 CB in the nation and based on his ranking on this game he is like the tenth? Also Lavonte David at ROLB is considered one of the top 2-4 linebackers out there and on the game he is like the 20th best on the game? look it up its not just based solely on my biased opinion....long post lol

Ok, I done some math they say they are working around the clock and doing two teams an hour. That's 48 teams a day. Mean at the longest it should take is 3 days.

Not that simple by any means. Two teams an hour just inputting the names, making all the changes and corrections that will make these rosters stand out will take a bit longer.

Notre Dame was one of the teams I did early on. I remember doing them to the 10, even equipment as this was last friday when I was waiting on buckeye to get ahead research-wise. Gray and Smith are in there.

HERE IS A MAJOR PROBLEM THAT WE ARE RUNNING INTO WITH COMMUNITY TEMPLATES:

When people submit us teams they are telling us to rename the true freshman because they cant find them. The reason is because people are getting their info from the school's athletic websites. Most athletics sites dont have the incoming freshmen included. So you want us to remake them because you cant find them.....GO TO WWW.RIVALS.COM and find the freshmen.

I dont want to sound like an asshole but you cannot be a true fan of a team and have no idea of who your incoming freshmen are. And know nothing about the many recruiting services such as Rivals, Scout, and even ESPN to name a few.

Notre Dame fans will be happy with the effort I put into their team.

I know you said you have them done but here's a really solid template for ND(took this from a thread at OS)

Here's Notre Dame. I listed everybody on the depth chart as they most likely will be, but who knows how EA will end up doing it. They should be in the correct order, I put asterisks next to the guys I would cut/change if needed. Let me know if you need more in depth info (ht/wt or whatever), I can get all the info needed on ND.

Offense
QB
1. Dayne Crist #10 RS Junior, 90 Overall, Pocket Passer
2. *Tommy Rees #11 Soph, 78 Overall, Pocket Passer
3. Andrew Hendrix #12 RS Freshman, 75 Overall, Dual Threat

2. Jonas Gray, #25 Senior, 80 Overall, Power

Roberson is a good looking young back, but had season ending knee surgery after spring practice, probably have to be the one to go if needed. Atkinson was recruited as a WR, but played RB in high school and will probably start there due to the lack of depth.

Is there any that you don't have or just whatever I can throw your way will do?

Any Pac 12 team that you can do well will work. I see it like this, there are people who can do rosters and people who cant. Every year we get people wanting us to remake freshman bc they cant find them on their athletic website. Or people who just copy and paste the spring depth chart on the thread, without actually naming the rosters. You cant post a spring depth chart that lists 5 quarterbacks when there is only 3 in the game.

Its hard to find someone who can post it how we like.

GatorBait06NC
07-13-2011, 11:58 PM
this is an example of a very good and helpful template submitted by the community

did you finish lsu's rosters?

If another mlb is needed, move #57 barrow to this spot.

the p listed is likely james hairston fr. 5'11 175 dallas, tx (i'm thinking rs this year)

if i counted correctly there are 68 on the default roster. To address the missing players, i'd probably do the following:

1. Make qb randall from wr#21
2. Create fb copeland from scratch
3. Make de montgomery from de allen
4. Make dt ferguson from either dt#97 or dt #91
5. Make s gibson from lb#39

Was my Iowa Template not good? Let me know, I know more than the majority of magizines and websites. And I did use True Freshman as well. Let me know if mine were good or not...

This is only offence. i should get defence completed by tomorrow night. The official Oregon Ducks 2011 roster had LT,LG,C,RG, and RT all listed as OL (offensive lineman) thats why there are practicly no 2nd string for the lineman. alot of the freshman dont appear in the game. keep in mind oregon redshirts alot of their coming up freshman players so alot of the RFr may be true freshman. i put in all the helmets the players should be wearing.so not all equipment changes have been done. i hope this helps

I know you guys finished the Big East a while ago, but here is a Pitt template if you didn't have one. I'm sure it's not perfect (the largest issue I see is that Carl Fleming is missing ... he should probably be in over Jeremiah Davis). But, anyway I figured I would give it a shot. Thanks for all your hard work. I didn't post ratings for the created players because I probably wouldn't be very objective.

I also sent an e-mail to the gmail account and sent a copy to your inbox ... so ... this is overkill, for sure.

Thanks again.

I see you already did Michigan but if it isn't too late they got the DEs wrong. All the RDEs should be LDEs and hence all the LDEs should be RDEs.

Will these rosters be able to be used for ranked games online?

Nope. They're moving players around, changing equipment, changing ratings(?), stuff like that. All that will make these rosters unusable for online ranked and unranked games. If you're looking for rosters to use for ranked games, BigWY's is the one to use.

OK. Thanks for the info.

No problem, happy to help.

If you plan on doing dynasties, these will definitely be the rosters to use for PS3 (Terrelle Pryor removed from Ohio State, players who have transferred removed from their old team and placed on their new team, etc). But for online games, both ranked and unranked, BigWY's is the one you'll want for those modes.

We are bumping up 5 star recruits overalls. Notre Dame is the one team that we even edited entire equipment for. I did it while I was waiting on buckeye to get way ahead of me on researching teams.

Gator,
I just got the game last night and noticed 2 things wrong with Miss. State's roster.First, Dylan Favre should be rated a little higher and be 3rd string QB. He will push Russell for the starting job next year. Second, James Carmon has moved from DT to LT. If you already know these things, please disregard. Thank you for all your hard work.

Id rather have one with Mike Gillislee, the backup RB. I think hes gona break out this year. Especially in the new system.

well good luck with Charlie Weis sir, be ready for alot of (sometimes back to back to back) screen passes. even when down and distance doesnt call for it. He's your "Schematic advantage" problem now .... might be a great OC for yall, never promote him no higher lol ..... sad thing is we are still paying him big bucks :smh:

from block-o over at OS

Had a minor set back today that i dont car to go into details about. Lost about 18 hours of work.

I want to say ETA is still Sunday. It will be late Sunday, but we'll work out asses off to get them done Sunday.

Just dont be surprised to have the rosters pushed back by a day or 2.

Not answering and questions, PM's or tweets for the next 30+ hours.

I wouldn't call losing 18 hours a minor setback. I would call that a screaming, pull my hair out and throw a fit moment. I couldn't imagine losing that much time. Ouch.

yea especially this close to finishing thats one of those moments where i just throw the controller and do something else for a few days and never touch the playstation but obviously block o and gator have a lil more tolerance then me haha

he's always been a great OC. helped the patriots dynasty earlier in the decade, turned matt cassel into a legitamate qb, and made brady quinn into a record breaker at ND. he can always put up numbers offensively and i think at florida he will once he gets driskel and dunbar into the starting lineup. i think that can be the next quinn and samardzija. weis only problem is he cant win as a head coach with his own recruits. the only success he had at notre dame was with ty willinghams recruits, once they left and he had his own guys coming in thats when ND started winning 3 games a year and losing to navy

yea especially if brantley is in there. guy couldnt throw a deep ball to save his life. he already checked down enough by himself now with weis we might see one ball thrown over 20 yards the whole game. and the bubble screens wont be too bad tho cuz addazio and mullen ran them several times a game out of the spread the past 5 years but not to the extent that weis does/ probably will

mgcole42
07-16-2011, 02:47 PM
Don't put the lack of deep ball all on brantley; he can throw the football well. Addazio is the reason we never threw the ball down the field. He was a terrible OC and I am happy beyond words that he is gone. Addazio was way over conservative and the reason Brantley didn't do so great last year is because Addazio can't draw up passing plays. His schemes are awful and he is always crowding receivers together where no one could possibly get open. If Weis can open up the receivers with some well formed plays and route combinations, Brantley will come through this year and make something happen in the passing game.

Now how Steve Addazio got a head coaching job after last year I will never know....:fp:

Then again it might have helped weis more @ ND if he had the speed and gamebreakers that UF has/had

holt4mvp
07-16-2011, 03:28 PM
yea it was obvious that florida was gonna take a step back on offense last year but it was never the same once mullen left. now mullen has miss st looking like a decent team on the rise and has a qb (relf) to run his offense the way he likes it. i dont think addazio will have any success at temple and love that hes gone. it was painful to watch some games last year when the gators had the ball.

and i cant wait to see what weis will do now that he does have the speed and gamebreakers UF has.

Let me set the record straight on Brantley. Will Brantley be a good QB in Weis scheme, possibly. But John Brantley is not the 5 star phenom that he was projected to be. He IS NOT and WILL NOT be a better passer than Tebow. Ive seen Tebow make a ton of great, NFL type passes that Brantley cant make. Tebow will succeed in the NFL on a side note. Brantley gets rattled way to easy. Hes also scared of contact and being sacked. He folds up at the slightest glance of a pash rusher. Brantley doesnt have an NFL arm and cannot make all the throws that all these wannabe experts think that he can make.

System-wise, he will be a lot better this year under Weis. Expect him to improve. But I guarantee he wont be a world beater and do not be suprised to see Driskel starting by the Auburn game. Especially if this years spring game is any indication of Brantley under Weis.

Still, hes a Gator and ill back him until the day I die. But the facts are the facts. Saying that he is a better passer than Tebow is crack smoking at its best.

sup gator, you and buck are doing a good job on these rosters. i would not envy doing this and having to put up with nagging fans such as myself.:P that said, i have a couple of quick questions about the uga rosters.

*did you switch richard samuels position to rb?
*what # did you use for isaiah crowell (supposed to be number 1)
*did you edit justin scott-wesleys speed rating (broke a record 100m dash, an is only an 89 in the game???) :fp:
*did you add ken "boo" malcolme to the game?
last question.... whats your beef with FSU?????

you would think that some of these people who want the rosters are incompetent. they want you guys to make the slightest changes. Why couldn't they just do them themselves. if you have a problem with a number for a position for even equipment just wait for them to finish and then make them however you want. quit bothering these guys from all the hard work they already do for you for something as simple as the equipment or a number change

So they should cater to the Alabama, USC, Ohio St., etc crowd but totally ignore New Mexico St., Utah St., UL-Lafayette people? You could do that yourself if you're only concerned about a handful of teams.

im not saying that I do. im just generalizing that alot of people only really care about certain teams in the game. teams they play with or against in their dynasties. and some big name players. hell some people i play with only know LMJ and DT ffom Oregon and no one else. some people dont appreciate all the hardwork gator and block and crew are putting in for us all sho give a damn about playing an accurate realistic game of ncaa

RB-Storm Johnson transferred to UCF, ROLB-Travis Williams transferred, QB-Ryan Williams transferred in from Memphis, QB-Tate Forcier never even came to Miami at all(replace him with Ryan Williams bc he is a Transfer in dynasty mode). I also suggest raising RG-Brandon Washington's overall, I follow the team quite closely and he has been named to several All-American watchlists and is considered by some to be the best OL in the ACC, and certainly the best on the team. Also, Seantrel Henderson and Malcolm Bunche are the LT's and Bunche is actually ahead of Henderson coming out of spring and supposedly had an amazing off-season. Jermaine Johnson and Ben Jones are the RT's with Johnson out in front as of now.

Just because I dont want there to be any confusion, the thread over at OS wasnt closed due to someones opinion and has nothing to do with class or a lack there of. That thread was closed in an attempt to help you guys so youre thread wouldnt be bogged down with never ending questions about either when it was going to be released or what the PSN was that the rosters would be uploaded under.

That isnt a good reason. We were bogged down with those very questions from post #1. OS is terrible. They banned me for no reason, even after I donated. When I asked for a reason, they didnt have one. That Millineum clown basically said that there was no reason and that he didnt need one. So to hell with those guys. They stress their Terms of Service over there like its the consitution, and 90% of the people who post there break the TOS daily. They are just selective on who they ban. Some people just let it go and some people want a real reason for being banned. If I hadnt donated, I wouldnt care at all. I just felt that I was owed an explanation.

Back on the rosters, we are still going through the editing phase. Not sure exactly how long it will take. The time on each team varies and we had a bunch of teams finalized before we started this last phase as well.

Gatorbait ive been downloading rosters from you for the past few years now man and you guys do an awesome job and it obviously takes a long time how many hours you guys think you put in doing the rosters. been playing the game alot of heisman and having a very difficult time everything seems to lag. i could beat alabama with western kentucky and eastern michigin on the past 3 games and florida when they had tebow. just wondering if anybody knows what up with that. il blitz my LB, and DT will bounce off the QB of the FCS East team the created one's im very lossed on this. Im not garbage at the game i had the number 1 linebacker for awhile finished 3rd i think so please dont say im a noob lol. Even the jump snap from the DE spot is totally messed up any help would be appreciated

As for OS. Me and Chris Sanner (ChrisS) stil has bad blood since the days of Madden Mania. I am shocked I am not banned yet. I was one of his mods and If you wasn't in his click you was gone. I done writeups for him for playbooks and lucky for one year only got both madden and ncaa free. As for Utopia, its the same thing as OS. I think even wroster. I am banned from Utopia because me and Mr. FluffyBunny got into it and I would kiss his @ss. I love it here and so glad I am joined. I'm going to spoiler the "off-topic" part so everyone won't have to read it

The thread got closed so it wouldn't A) Get redundant with the "Are They Done Yet?" posts that would surely have clouded the thread with some of the people that post on OS and B) To avoid the thread going off the rails even more (for heaven's sake, the thread turned into who people would have intercourse with on the USWNT for awhile).

Stop letting everything OS does bother you. They banned you, you don't agree with it (which I'm sure a lot of people on OS agree with you, me included), so what. You have found a better home for you here and it's time to let it go.

Appreciate all of the work both of y'all do because you really don't have to take the time out to lose sleep for people all over the country just so HB #21 is named LaMichael James.

We COMPLETELY underestimated the time its going to take to do the edits. After naming and making major edits to 120 teams, I guess you forget. Both of us were going on little sleep and were working at a pace that was getting nothing done. Buckeye is going back to work tommorrow, but I will be on it first thing in the morning. Hopefully a fresh body can start knocking down these edits at a faster pace.

We are battling the pathetic shape of EAs default rosters and that we want the Memphis and Wyoming fans to be impressed. We want to give the same effort for each and every team. Theres no reason to release a roster set with half of the teams done in detail and half not.

Hopefully I will have a true release time by tommorrow afternoon as I start finishing off some teams at a better pace. The amount of players that shouldnt be on the rosters in insane.

I could barely hold my eyes open as I was attempting to knock out Memphis, which is one of the worst rosters in the game. Then the f*cking power went out for about 10 minutes. I mustered up the strength to turn everything back on and get half-way through Memphis again before I literally fell asleep sitting there with controller in hand.

Got up and wrote this before trying to get a planned 4-5 hours of sleep.

I will make a new post tommorrow concerning corrections templates for anyone wanting to help make their favorite team more accurate. For example: A Washington State fan can make a more accurate Wazzou roster that a diehard Gator fan who bleeds orange and blue.

My sole purpose for living is to watch the Gators play on Saturday. Period.

Not that I'm a huge forums guy or anything, but I signed up for OS just to give my thanks to Buck & Gator for doing the rosters and to keep updated. Although there were some repetitive questions, I still didn't see why the thread was locked. Honestly, from an outsiders point of view, the reason for closing it didn't seem feasible either, but now I'm signed up here, so no bubbles no troubles.

And since I'm here I'll say thanks again to you guys for doing all this work so guys can have the realism they crave from these games (or 4 years of realistic draft classes in my case.) Keep up the outstanding work and I'll continue to wait patiently. I might lose some hair, but still patiently hehe.

They're just being jerks, to be quite honest about it all. I personally think that they're jealous. Reason being is because these Mods over there have 30,000+ Posts (some of them), and I can assure you they didn't ever get the attention that Buck and/or Gator are getting...from the "Thank you's" to the "How can I donate to your PayPal??" etc., etc.
