So for the last 2 months with Ben bragging about the 4-2-5, 2 weeks before release, we finally get to see the revamped D? About time.

well what do you know, another deep TD pass to a wide open WR several yards past the nearest CB. There needs to be better WR jamming. And it needs to be jostling running down the field between the WR and CB. As it is now, it is just a foot race down the field.

seam routes vs. the 4-2-5 are money if the right coverage isn't played, just like how it should be. Wisconsin killed TCU down the seams in the 4th quarter 3rd down. Oh, you can't bump a receiver pass 10 yards, hence the lack of jostling.

Hell, the shotgun running seemed pretty good in that video. Of course, I think Boise was user controlled. Who knows??? We'll find out in 2 weeks b/c I don't think demo is going to prove much.

Shotgun running in itself isn't bad, it's the spread offense running.

Yeah, coverage guy was split between the two routes on that one TD.....QB just has to put the pass where it counts....

Yeah I know that, but the problem is they don't even bump the WR within the 10 yards that they are allowed too. They just let them go.

i'll probably run the 4-2-5 quite a bit as I used to be very successful with it. It looks like passes will have to be pin point this year or they will get picked easily.

They wore them against Fresno St last year.

So did they remove 'Bear' from the 4-2-5 formations?

I don't see what wrong with the play at 3:00 in? There were two receivers and he sorta didn't choose which one to cover, there was no good outcome going to happen on that play for TCU.

I like the camera angle on the replay of the interception too. I think I might actually watch those little highlight clips this year.

It is now listed as Private, so I am assuming it wasn't supposed to be released today.

I liked that too, I'll be watching more replays overall with everything new we have seem so far and yes I want to see the grass to lol. I really want to see the collisions and tackling big time. Should make for some really good pics and highlights this year.

With these it could add more depth to the highlights on the web as well for online dynasties. I'm hoping to keep up with the stories this year better :D

That's the internet for you haha; doesn't matter how quickly a video gets taken down if somebody is quick enough to upload it themselves.

Like they always say, once you put it out there on the internet, it will always be on the internet some where.

Is it just me, or are the first two plays by TA&M prime examples of totally fucked up blocking mechanics? Two separate plays where the HB gets nailed because the FB doesn't block the dude that you would think he'd block (and one play he turns completely around to block a pursuer instead of blocking the outside linebacker that breaks the TE's block). I gotta say, why hasn't that shit been fixed?

And to add to that, the commentary is so freaking old. They need to completely redo commentary next year. Prime example...

"It was a really nice drive too, Brad. The quarterback got into a nice rhythm and did a good job of picking apart the defense."

Bullshit! The quarterback threw one pass, the WR made a nice catch and then an unrealistic move to take it to the house. One pass does not equal a "nice rhythm" or "picking apart a defense."

Agreed! I figured that shit would get fixed at least a lil bit.

I hate how in all of these video clips that they run the most generic plays out of the most generic formations.

Certainly that is an option, but for $60 bucks a year, you'd think they could at least tweak the commentary to be specific to the play that just happened. We still get: The wide receiver ran a perfect post route and the quarterback hit him right in stride... or however they say it. And that "post" pattern... was a corner route...

I don't play any of the NBA games, but from what I've read, they have great commentary in those... so why can't NCAA???

NBA 2K is the golden standard of commentary. Always fresh, especially when the season is going on. FIFA 10 and 11 has great commentary too, and they may be in a conversation, but it properly breaks off when there is a chance for a goal to be scored.

Agreed on 2K .... for NCAA, I normally have the audio on whatever I have on the other TV running through surround (like MLB Network lately)....

Same here. I rarely ever actually listen to the game sounds playing NCAA. Normally I listen to my playlists from my Droid X.
