Damn. Kept the streak going with Josh Hamilton, but Cargo Gonzalez didn't play last night, so only got to 11 instead of 12. First I get screwed earlier in the week from Mike Napoli not playing, and now CarGo keeps me from picking up a complete double down.

Yeah, we have a couple ways to be safe.


Your streak will NOT end under any of the following scenarios (each such scenario, a "Pass"):

A. If a player you select does not play during the MLB game for which you selected him for any reason other than his MLB Club not being scheduled to play;

B. If each of your selected players' plate appearances (one or more) result in a base on balls, hit batsman, defensive interference or obstruction or a sacrifice bunt; or

C. Except as set forth in the Suspended Games Section below, in the event any MLB game for which you select a player is cancelled, postponed or suspended. (See below for more information about Suspended Games.)

The funny thing about my pick for today, is I forgot to make a pick before I left for work, so I didn't make my pick until just before 8pm after I got home, and Howard Kendrick was the best option left for the 8pm or later games. :D

I joined back up and started doing this again yesterday. Went 2 for 2 with a double of Michael Cuddyer and Alexei Ramirez, picking both a Rockies and White Sox player in the game against each other. Went with Freddie Freeman tonight.

It'll be much easier to keep up with this thing this year thanks to the Beat the Streak android app. I never kept with it last year because I kept forgetting to check it regularly on my laptop when I wouldn't have it opened up in a tab to remind me.
