God I love my job! We're doing a special football program on our country radio station since 10am until noon. I've been drinking bottles of beer since 10am (while my boss drinks glasses of beer at Fricker's where they're broadcasting the program from) and I have hereby declared this as the Smooth Pancakes Beer Hour. I have played literally nothing but country songs directly about beer since 10am and have enough to keep going for half of the afternoon. Fuck I love life! :D

Ironically enough, I've grown to not really care for country music lately despite liking it growing up. I think it's because that was ALL I'd listen to day after day during live broadcasts since I'd have to have the station tuned in on a hand held radio to hear when breaks came up. But, I figured what the hell, if I had to sit there, I was going to improve the music with my own special alcoholic touch. :D

And this is actually the second time this week I've been drinking beer at work. I had to sit in studio of the same country station for three hours for some special stupid thing we were broadcasting (I literally was doing nothing but sitting there turning the broadcast on at the beginning and turning it off at the end and NOTHING in between), so I also bought some beer on my way into work Sunday night at was sitting there for three hours drinking. So that's 5 hours this week that I've been paid to just sit there and drink beer. :nod:
