I definitely haven't. I had the flu for the first 3 weeks of March and didn't even touch my 360. Thank God that's shit is over with.

Yeah, I haven't even been trying for achievements lately. Just playing games and having fun. Plus I've been playing PC games a TON more lately, so my 360 playing time has gradually gone down a bit.

If you haven't heard, from now on arcade games will have 400GS instead of the old 200. Trials Evolution will be the first one to support it(releases this Wednesday) followed by Bloodforge, Fable Heroes, and Minecraft. I'm really glad...I always felt 200 and like 10 achievements was never enough.

Speaking of those games, they all look awesome. It looks like Bloodforge is a God of War clone, so I'll definitely have fun with that.

Thanks to Minecraft, I have FINALLY gotten over the 10k mark in gamerscore. Took me this long because I spend 90% of my time on the PS3 :D

Addictive. I see what the fuss was about. Downside is that it is $20 (1600 :msp:) Worth it to me though.

I'll never see the point in it, but I guess it's just not my style of game. I did buy it though and it is very relaxing. I think once I learn the mechanics a bit better I'll enjoy it more.

I have no expectations of ever getting it. Austin plays more games in a couple months (based on getting almost 6,000 gamerscore since the last update) than I, for the most part, buy in almost an entire year. That and with the exception of one or two games, all of my 100% games are sports games, pretty much exclusively NCAA and Madden, so most I could hope for would be 2 100% games added to my list if I were to knock out both NCAA and Madden in the same month. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to drop down to 4th on the list by the end of the year based on oweb gradually catching up to me.

You'll get it. I only award based on achievement gain over the month when no other milestones are reached. When someone hits a new 10k level or 100%s a game, I usually give it to them. If I(and now Jeff) didn't do it that way, Violator and Austin would win every single time. :D

Besides, I saw your massive must buy list for October and November. Those should be big months.

Just burning through some games. I've been sitting on a bunch of used ones that I bought on the cheap to play through. Games I didn't want to spend full retail on, but was interested in playing through. I have like 17 more sitting at the house, lol. And a list I maintain of a bunch, bunch more. Hell, I'm going to probably get MW3 for like $10 by the time I get to it.
However, I've been playing Ghost Recon for the last couple weeks almost exclusively. Fun stuff.

About to get back into burn mode again though as I want to kill off another couple games before NCAA comes out.

I've been trying to get a group together to get those damned Domination achievements in Future Soldier. Talk about some stupid ass achievements. If I can actually find a group, though, it'll be good: I'll get the achievements and I wont have to play with randumbs.

Hell, we lose far more matches than we have won. I'm just grabbing what achievements I can in that game, but I won't be able to 100% it. Shoot, best kill streak I've gotten is only like 5-7, but there is an achievement for 10 straight. That's ok, that is one of my "fun" games, not "100% whore" games. :D

It only took me almost 5 years, but I've finally beat the original Assassin's Creed. It wasn't nearly as bad as I remember it. I got all the achievements for it except killing all the Templars and finding the 5 billion flags scattered across the cities, so I guess I'll do that next and then move onto ACII. Thursday night I got the last of the God forsaken multiplayer achievements for Revelations so all I have to do is go through and beat 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations and do all the miscellaneous crap. My only goal is to have them all completed by the time ACIII comes out and considering the online achievements are all done in Brotherhood and Revelations, I shouldn't have much of a problem.

I have heard that the templars sometimes glitch in the original, so I'm holding my breath it doesn't.

Well, I just quit one of the games I was going to farm for achievements because it was just not fun at all to me. Duke Nukem Forever sucks. Just boring. And that is saying a lot since I've burned through a number of low-budget titles in the past year or so, but they've at least been entertaining or even fun. Not that one.
Started up Sniper: Ghost Warrior after pulling Duke out of my machine last night, and Sniper is immediately more enjoyable to play through on the first mission than the several levels I played of Duke.

Of all the stories floating around the internet today, this one is tailor made for us. From this Autumn, the Xbox Live Rewards program will offer up Microsoft Points based on your Achievements.

Yup, you read that right. While details of exactly how this will work have yet to be announced, the news comes direct from the Xbox Live Rewards Twitter account. "Coming Fall: a new way to earn Rewards based on your Achievements!,” said the tweet. Nice, eh?

Xbox Live Rewards is a service that offers up MSP in return for carrying out various tasks, like filling in questionnaires and renewing XBL subscriptions. However, it has never rewarded users for their Achievements before. You can find out more about Xbox Live Rewards here.

We will, of course, bring more details once they are officially announced.

Hell I've earned about 1600 points in a year and a half of XBOX Rewards. That's $10 there for taking surveys and other stuff.

I've earned over 2000MSP since December 2010, so I definitely see it worthwhile.

Austin, you have to check the actual site...they just email you updates. Every month they have a chance for 20MSP just by taking a 20 second survey and then they'll have a monthly deal, like spend 1600MSP and get 240MSP back or some shit. It doesn't sound like much, but it adds up pretty quick and is a nice bonus especially if you buy a bunch of XBLA games and would've probably bought the games anyway.

Finally got the 1000GS for the original Assassin's Creed. I got all the achievements except for one on my initial play through(including all 430 flags) which was the kill all 60 templars one. I finished the game with 59/60 and if you read online, that more than likely means it glitched. Instead of looking at every location again, I just started a new game and made sure that they actually registered when I killed them.

All in all, it was a lot better than I remember. Onward to ACII!

I don't really like games with collectibles, just to have collectibles. What fucking point does that add to the game? Just a cheap ploy to make you wander around and waste time.

Legitimately surprised I actually got it. I figured soonest I would even have a chance of getting it was when I'd hit 30,000 GS, which could be November or a year from now with me at times. The funny thing is, I don't even know what the hell I got my 10th 100% completion on. I have no memory or recollection of 100% completing a game this past month or two. :D

What are you playing as? As a Soldier or Sentinel, it's easy.

I started my Insanity playthrough with a level 30 character instead of importing a ME1 character and starting at level 1, so I was basically fighting full on level 30 insanity without any upgraded weapons. Now that I've got some upgraded, it's been much easier. Still, that first half when I had no upgrades was an utter nightmare.

I really haven't done any gaming lately. A bit of time spent in NCAA here, dicking around with friends in Halo Reach MP there, that's about it. Most time on XBL, if any, has been spent on Netflix.

I don't have Fridays and Saturdays anymore due to work, as well, due to work, I'm sleeping from 8am until sometime mid-late afternoon (closest to 4 or 5pm the better) and awake the entire night.

Just not much in the mood for playing games between being naturally constantly tired while adjusting to the time shift in sleep, and because at 2 or 3am, I'd rather just settle back and watch a movie or TV show than screw around a game.

I don't agree about Seriously 3.0. It's not hard, it's just immensely time consuming. Definitely agree with Mile High Club, though. That is still one of the hardest things I've ever played.

Insanity on Mass Effect 3 was MUCH easier than Insanity on Mass Effect 2. I blew through ME3 Insanity like it was nothing.

Just beat Saints Row 3, definitely a lot of easy achievements to get on that game. I picked it up on Black Friday and was happy with my purchase. It is definitely not even close to the GTA series, but it has its own style and is entertaining.

Starting playing Brink earlier this week. Quickly ended playing Brink minutes later.

Started playing Singularity yesterday when home sick, recovering from tail-end of the flu. I'm enjoying it and not too far from finishing out the SP campaign. IGN gave it a 7 rating, but I'd put maybe a bit higher than that, although some of their comments are legit. I'd rather play Singularity than any Halo game, but that could be due to me thinking Halo games sucked. :)

Played through Bulletstorm last week and that was ok also. Didn't really like it enough to bother getting all the Skillshots.

Yeah, it's boring, but on top of that some of the achievements are hard as hell. I didn't like it at all, but I was certainly going to get my $5 out of it, so I forced myself to play it.

I noticed you were missing just the Mile High Club for COD4...you ever plan on going back and trying for that lovely little bastard? :D

Man...........I can't recall if I have that game anymore or not. I should go back and try, even though I was damn close several times.......kept muffing the last headshot and got pissed and quit. Now you got my interest piqued again. I hate you. :P

I only ever got to the hostage part one time, and luckily I was able to land the head shot. Honestly, if I had gotten to the end and missed or killed the hostage, I probably would have quit and never touched it again. It took me forever to finally get past all the main enemies. Easily the most annoying level I've played on any game(although the Gears 3 final boss on Insane is right up there).

There's a glitch that you can look at on YT that when you get to the hostage, you can actually jump a couple times and get behind the last enemy and just knife him instead of trying your luck with a head shot.

Whore of the Month


Smooth! With his 2 completed games during this...apparently 6 month(?) stretch of absence. I swear I typed one out two months ago...apparently it didn't go through and I never caught it.

Just finished up episode 3 on it. Now they're starting to really force you to make some tough damn decisions. The decisions in the first two episodes never really were an issue for me, but a couple of them in episode 3 made me hesitate for a second or two.

Whore of the Month


Austin! Just by eyeballing it, I'd say he amassed more gamer score and more completed games in April than everyone else combined, so if that doesn't give you Whore of the Month, I don't know what will.

In other news, no more classes after this week so I've begun my journey through Walking Dead: Survival Instinct!

Also, according to the site I use, Smooth actually somehow lost a completed game, so he gets honorable mention for Whore of the Month by achieving the impossible. :D

That was the very first thing that caught my eye. How in the hell did I LOSE a completed game? :D

Unfortunately it's difficult to gain any serious gamerscore lately. I've been playing mainly the same games lately in NCAA 13, Halo 4 and Halo: Reach with my friend (since he doesn't have Halo 4). In fact, looking at it on Xbox.com, those are literally the only games I've played in the past month. So getting GS is difficult. Though I do still have to whore out NCAA '13. I've only got 8 achievements for 145 GS, so still lots of achievements and gamerscore to go after in '13.

Man, feels like I've hardly played 360 at all the last couple months too. Work has gotten rather busy, so I'm pretty damn wiped and end up watching shows instead.

Walking Dead episodes were fun. Glad that I followed y'all's comments here on the site about it being worth it.

Playing Crysis2 currently and not all that impressed.

Whore of the Month

In the inaugural POST BIT ICON SUPPORTED achievement whore of the month, Austin wins it in a landslide. As if there was ever any doubt. Also, since this is the first time I've updated this in a long time, 2 impressions:

1. It's depressing my score was reset. :(
2. I really, really need to update the gamer cards. That will be the job for next month.
