Yeah, not sure why they didn't include sound... we saw a preview of these last week and they included sound so who knows.

Thought I'd include this here too:

As a gameplay first guy, I have often overlooked presentation in NCAA as fluff. Having attended the NCAA ’12 community events for the first time this year, and seeing firsthand the tremendous improvements made to the game this year in recreating the realistic sights and sounds of college football, I can say that no longer will I overlook the impact these details can have on the game. Simply put, the additions to the presentation in NCAA ’12 are a game changer.

In addition to the new lighting system that has already been discussed, things as simple as 3D grass, improved crowd models, and bands in the stands increase the immersion factor ten-fold; making you feel even more like you’re actually watching a real game of college football. It honestly took me a half a game or so to quit staring at the crowd instead of the plays on the field. Pre-Game entrances, warm-ups, team touchdown celebrations, and other various cut scenes have all been improved upon and are a very nice touch. Also, the crowd sounds are brand new and sound more realistic and immersive than they ever have before. Finally, though I’m sure I am forgetting about something, the authentic ESPN presentation has been taken to a completely new level complete with authentic telecast wipes, animations, and style.

All of this, combined with the enhanced gameplay and other little details make this the most vivid NCAA Football Game to date IMO.

As if the phrase of choice lately concerning this stuff, my pants just got much tighter.

The highlight of it all is the work being done to the "suction problem" that's been plaguing this franchise for far too long! Glad to see it in motion! It looks really good, I honestly can't see any hitch in animations....especially when a defender and runner collide! Good Stuff thus far....SUPER SIKED:bang:

Side Note: Thank GOD there's no more "suction catching"!! I see a lot more grueling games aka Instant Classics in the making!!:))

Hard to come up with negative comments on videos that are very choosey of what they show. ;)

Was there a "fog game" that I missed last year. I mean I know they always show that Chicago game against Philly (I think) but I cannot recall many others were fog was even a remote issue.

AT 1:07 of the second video(Presentation) I saw something horrible...The Cotton Bowl STILL hasn't been upgraded for the OU/Texas game. The upper deck has been bowled in since 2008. This is frustrating.

Touche. I figured I must have missed the game b/c that seemed sort of a "random" thing to throw into the game.

I remember watching that game on TV. Couldn't see a damn thing going on on the field at times! :D

In regards to the 2nd video, I couldn't get enough of playing night games in the fog. They look AMAZING.

By far my favorite new additions are the fog (which look incredible - even with a quick glimpse), and the improvements to Zone coverage and defense in general. I've thought that defense has been a weakness for a while in NCAA and Madden especially when it comes to coverage in the flats, TE coverage and what seems like automatic slant plays. The fact that the video mentions flats and slant coverage are huge positives already.

The presentation as a whole looks amazing. As someone who loves MLB The Show for things like presentation and little details, I can tell you having these little additions makes the game exponentially more interactive.

Yeah hopefully we can get a night fog screen from EA soon. And welcome to the site!

why are there no names on the back of players jerseys like rb #4 in the presentation video?

Best answer: everything we're seeing is still a Work in Progress. Even those of us who went to the Community Event last week were playing a WIP game that isn't final yet.

Some videos and screenshots have names-on-back, some don't. Don't read too much into it yet.

Is it a school that doesn't use nameplates in real life? From the event last week, I thought most (all) schools I saw had the POS # on back of their uniforms.
