Arkansas State amasses 630 yards rushing in their 101-12 route of Florida International. HB Jakhari Gore led the way with 242 yards on 16 carries with 4 touchdowns while HB Frankie Jackson added 187 yards on 12 carries with 2 touchdowns. HB Mario Watkins contributed 71 yards on 5 carries and a touchdown, QB Brian Horton had a single rush for 77 yards that went for a touchdown, and WR Andrew Tryon had a single carry for 49 yards that also went for a touchdown. Horton also added 166 yards through the air on 8 of 13 completions with two touchdowns and one interception. Defensively, the Red Wolves allowed 295 yards passing but also managed two forced fumbles both of which were returned for a touchdown. To complete the puzzle, Frankie Jackson added a punt that he returned 84 yards for the touchdown.
