Good read, I lol'd about the HDMI cables. I've seen them priced between $50-$100 which is ridiculous

That was a really interesting read. I personally disagree on the service plans, depending on the situation. I have gotten a brand new ipod (and the original back fixed) from best buy, a new laptop from dell when I "accidentally" dropped it down the stairs (threw it out the 2nd floor window twice), and my tv warranty has more than paid for itself in bulb replacements and cleaning.
The key with these warranties is to demand to see exactly what it covers in writing and actually read it. Don't accept a brochure that doesn't give all of the details.

Yah, I get mine from Monoprice for $6 each and they work perfect LOL

Amazon is always a nice place to go for them as well. Can't beat $5-$7 including shipping.
