I wonder how The Heist is going to be. I initially thought it looked *** as hell, but everyone else seems to be raving about it.

I've wanted it since I first saw it. It's being compared to a bank robbery version of Left 4 Dead.

Next Tuesday, February 28, Sony will be giving away the multiplayer side of Killzone 3 away for free via its PlayStation Network. Any PlayStation 3 owner with an internet connection and a PSN account will be able to sample Killzone 3 multiplayer across all of its maps, free-to-play style.

The download will feature a level cap, and players will have the option of paying $14.99 to unlock the full skill tree once they reach that cap. The single player campaign will not be included and is not planned to be sold separately.

Unless you're an absolute trophy whore, don't bother with Jeremy McGrath's Offroad. The physics is good, but there's no collision detection so you can easily cheat your way around the entire track. The AI is not competitive, even at the most difficult level, unless you don't upgrade your vehicle (and since the higher difficulties give MORE upgrade XP, that's illogical).

11 of the 12 trophies are easy. Complete the career mode and you'll most likely have 10 of them. The 11th is to race 6 laps in Time Trial mode (5 against your Ghost). The 12th trophy is to race 1000 miles total in the game. I completed the career mode and probably was not even to 400 miles, so that one would take hours of arcade races.

By the end of the career mode I was giving everyone a 5 second head start, just to make it interesting.

OOOOOH!

Zen Studios launching Star Wars Pinball this month (http://www.joystiq.com/2013/02/05/zen-studios-launching-star-wars-pinball-this-month/)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oeyOubdGUNM

Whether you're playing Pinball FX 2 on Xbox Live Arcade or Windows 8, Zen Pinball 2 on PlayStation Network or Mac, or Zen Pinball on iOS or Zen Pinball HD on Google Play, you'll be able to supplement your virtual table collection with a trio of new Star Wars-themed tables later this month. These three tables will be available standalone on iOS and Google Play, or in the aforementioned games as DLC.

The first three tables offered are themed around Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Boba Fett and the animated Clone Wars series, each with their own unique missions and layout – and in the case of Episode V, even has footage taken directly from the film that will display in the dot matrix window prior to every mission.

A total of 10 different Star Wars Pinball tables are planned. Zen Studios has yet to finalize pricing, but we'll be sure to pass along that info as soon as it's announced.
