True story:
In college, I had a Nintendo 64 and I owned a copy of Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball. My roommate and I decided to play a Best-of-7 World Series. I took the Braves and he took the Mariners. The series went to game 7. I had a 3 point lead going into the bottom of the 9th. My roommate was able to load the bases with 2 outs and Griffey up to bat. My instincts told me to intentionally walk him but I only needed 1 out so I pitched to him.

First pitch............Grand Slam

We both knew it too the second the bat made contact as my roommate jumped out of his chair and I slumped out of mine.

Even though I lost, that moment was awesome.

Yeah, just flurries now. It was coming down good for the first quarter.

So they were scheduled to bring down the Silverdome today. Instead the implosion failed and the Silverdome is still standing. Quite fitting for a failed implosion, that fails to destroy a stadium, would happen in Detroit. The city of sports letdowns and failures (second only to Cleveland) strikes again! :D
