On Tuesday's edition of The Athletic's 'Until Saturday' podcast, Kirk Herbstreit joined host Ari Wasserman to discuss a variety of college football topics. At the 39:00 mark, the topic changed to the return of the EA SPORTS College Football franchise. Herbstreit reminisced about his time as part of the NCAA Football franchise, both as a fan and as an in-game commentator.
When discussing the returning title, no new information came to light, but Herbstreit did share this quote: “I’m very excited with some of the announcements that’ll be coming up here very soon from what I hear.” It is currently unknown if he will be a part of the franchise in the future, though there has been some internet rumor and speculation that he will be.
