what happened to this kick starter? Its like it went radio silent for a year now

Last I read, they were claiming that legal issues were preventing them from continuing. IIRC not that they were getting sued, but rather that someone was squatting on a URL or something that they felt was inhibiting their progress. It seemed less than kosher.
