RIP Harry G (shadez)

Thought I would drop a line here to let those of you still around that remember Harry Patterson, better known from Utopia as shadez or Mr. Shadez. He was an original member of the Utopia Vets League and one of the better online players on that site.

Harry passed away this afternoon from complications with an infection. He was paralyzed 7 years ago in a diving accident. He was a passionate South Carolina fan and a fervant Clemson hater.

Thought some of you may want to know.

That's awful. Thanks for passing the news along. I remember how happy he was after SC won the College world series shortly after his accident.

I chatted with him years ago about accessibility controls in The Show. It was an eye-opening conversation for me and put some perspective on what most of us take for granted.

Hopefully his loved ones will find peace in the life he lived after the grief of his passing lessens.
