Winding down another season, we head into the weekend before Turkey Day and the big Rivalry Weekend next Friday and Saturday.
But first! Another 7 day week of football, as we get MAC doubleheaders tonight and Wednesday night. The IAA squads get in on the action Thursday as does the now lackluster (compared to before the season) Louisville-Houston game and a nice littlr rivalry showdown between Arkansas State and Troy. Nothing too exciting, but another chance to see the field that a million smurfs ejaculated on.
Come Saturday, does Iowa have a let down against Illinois, does Ohio State stay on track over Michigan State? How about Oklahoma State-TCU? The Ohio State Bitch Club meets at noon as Maryland and Nebraska (both 62-3 losers against the Bucks) face each other. Don't forget the D-IAA rivalries, Yale-Harvard and Lafayette-Lehigh.
Later in the day, Western Michigan looks to remain one of the last two unbeatens against Buffalo, Michigan tries to get back on track against Indiana, Wyoming tries to keep their successful season going against SDSU, it's a big showdown between Washington State and Colorado, Navy tries to stay in the AAC West driver's seat against East Carolina, and Notre Dame tries to start a win streak over Virginia Tech.
Saturday night, Alabama goes pussy mode with cupcake Chattanooga. After stumbling last week, Clemson matches up with a Wake Forest team that was actually pushing around Louisville for the first half of the game last week. In AAC title game implications, South Florida battles SMU while Temple takes on Tulane and Tulsa faces Central Florida. Washington tries to recover from last week against Arizona State, West Virginia tries not to blow another championship opportunity while Oklahoma just tries not to blow.
Penn State, potentially in the driver's seat in the Big Ten East gets cupcake Rutgers. We get some late night Mountain West action as Air Force visits San Jose State and New Mexico travels to Colorado State. And lastly, it's a Pac-12 After Dark doubleheader as Arizona faces Oregon State while USC battles hated rival UCLA.
Also, a big morning at 11am Sunday morning, the D-IAA playoff selection show! Real true 24 team playoffs, not this little shitty wannabe joke of a playoff that the big schools do.
