Notre Dame and Texas is like watching Hitler and Stalin fight to the death. There will be a winner but nobody really wins.
Meh. It's a win-win. If the Irish win, they're 1-0. If Texas wins, the Irish will go to the playoffs because that's what losing to Texas does for you.
I've gotten about what I expected from Notre Dame but Texas' offense is looking to be greatly improved. I didn't expect that at all. They've sputtered for so many years now that I expected more of the same from them, particularly with all the under classmen they are starting.
Notre Dame is in for a fight in the second half.
Oh, and as I suspected last year when these two played, Malik Jefferson is a MAN.

Actually rooting for ND. I hate Notre Dame but I despise Texas. Watching the guys at Shaggy Texas imploding over this comeback is simply joyous. Fucking T-Sippers.

That was a great game. I agree Steeler. I fully expected Texas to blow it. However, they pulled it out.
I just figured they'd struggle to get out of their own way like they have for years. I figured the Irish would put up 30+ points but I just thought Texas would do very good to score even 17.
Who knew Texas had an offense?
Of course, with my luck, Texas will probably be shit on offense for most of the year and make this game completely inexplicable.
