Surprised to hear this announcement. I thought Civ 5 was outstanding... AFTER all of the DLC. However, when Civ Beyond Earth was announced we were told that the tried and true Civ model was bland and it was time for a change. That logic no longer seems to be true. I will surely buy the game but probably not until much later after a few DLC's have been released. The base Civ games just don't have enough content IMO.
