    Yeah, that really surprised me when they did that. I was off near a cabin, heard the car start, pulled up the map to morph and saw the car take the off road shortcut. I wasn't expecting that to be possible with bots, I figured they'd be hard wired to driving on shown roads/paths in the cars. But I sure won't complain! It has a very nice "real player" feel to it when the bots do something like that, makes it almost feel like I'm playing with a lobby of real humans.

    No new content coming to F13 due to legal dispute.


    Gun Media has confirmed they’ll be no new content for Friday the 13th: The Game. The decision for no new DLC has been taken out of their hands due to a legal dispute.

    In a press release sent out today, the developer issued the following statement:

    "As many in our community may be aware, a legal claim has been made which could affect all future Friday the 13th intellectual property. Although in the past the game has not been subject to any such claim, new content and material going forward will be affected. An initial decision in this case was expected in October 2017, but no decision has yet been issued. The court review of the legal rights is in process, but final resolution may take some time. Until the claim rights can be dismissed or resolved, no new content can be released."

    This means that they’ll be no new content for Friday the 13th The Game, including play modes, new counselors and maps at any time in the future. “This includes “Uber Jason”, The Grendel Map, Jason Kill Packs, Clothing, Emotes and new Counselors,” says Gun Media.

    In the statement, the developer made it clear that they still remain committed to launching dedicated servers for Friday the 13th: The Game and fixing bugs.

    I'd hoped the game could be kept out of this mess but now it's affected as well.

    Greed, 90% of it on Victor Miller's side, is killing the franchise. That cocksucker wrote the original movie and did not think Jason was a viable character to carry on with in part 2. Now he wants to own all the rights.

    This same suit has killed any new movies and now the game is fucked. Fuck Victor Miller.
