Looks like the more people who support them, the more content the game will have. They have a pretty ambitious goal.
I'm taking a wait and see approach to this. It sounds good, but a lot of Kickstarter games have either gone dead before release or bombed if they even made it to release. I'm gonna want to wait and see what this looks like as a finished product first.
Sure it could always be failure and that is why I never spend a dime on kickstarter projects. The video concerns me a bit due to having roughly 10 seconds of gameplay in it. That said it's got the right people behind it. Years away from seeing anything relevant but as a FT13th fan, I need it.
I hope the game makes it and its great but I will NEVER support a kickstarter (unless/until my early investment will turn into actual potential profits/return on my investment).
Completely missed this interview.

I'm in no matter what but it'd be great to have a single-player mode as well.
Here's a great in-depth look at how the game mechanics will work.

Slasher Backer ends July 8. Be sure to preorder before then, if you know you want the game!

I just read in the comments of the first video that I posted yesterday that the Counselor Clothing and Tom Savini-created Jason skin will NOT be available anywhere after the Slasher Backer ends. It's a way of thanking the early backers.
The comment was posted by the guy who made the video so I'd assume it is true. It seems like I remember hearing that from the devs somewhere too, come to think of it.
If you're going to want that DLC, you better grab it before the 8th.
