Tiburon will never do it but I challenge them none-the-less. Come out with your FIVE LOWEST players at each position. Pretty much a guarantee that the low to mid seventies will fill the categories. They key here is not to ID the superstars but rather the below average. 5 top players for every position and lots of 95-99 ratings... stretch the ratings! Rookies IMO should not come in any higher that a 70 ovr.

If rookies are starters then they have to be rated more than 70 since every starter in Madden is.

Which is part of the whole problem with Madden and how tight the ratings are.

Two of those top 5 are former Dolphins drafted in first two rounds the same year.

I think Peterson is overrated. Tremendous athlete but he gets turned and burned way too much for a so called shutdown corner. I like Haden but his lack of deep speed hurts him.

That has to be gut-wreching/frustrating as a fan.

It hurts for sure. Sean Smith had ability but it took him quite awhile to become more consistent. Vontae Davis was immature. He played well for the most part but his ball skills weren't there yet either. We did get a second round pick back for him when trading. That's life in the NFL though.

Kickers will be interesting this year. The CFL now kicks converts from 35 yards out and the convert completion is something like 68% were as last year it was 99.8% or something like that. I think the kicker ratings will need to drop because I suspect the NFL will experience something similar to what the CFL has with converts.

That's my point Rudy. Super Stars should be the exception, not the norm. A 70 is above average player in most sports games. Almost no rookies are super stars from day one.

Madden needs to have kicking sliders that actually work. I can't even remember if they split kicking sliders between cpu and human in franchise.

I'm told they are split, but I didn't specifically ask "in Franchise". Have they been split in Play Now but not in Franchise before?

Unfortunately yes. They treated the sliders separately the last year or two for some odd reason.
