This is going to be a great season for me. Time Warner has finally started stepping up their game (as well as their monthly bill rates) and started adding more sports channels. Since January, they've added and opened up access to my current subscription package of Fox Sports 2, Fox College Sports Atlantic, Fox College Sports Central and Fox College Sports Pacific all to the digital tier channels, added SEC Network HD, YES HD, NESN HD and finally added Fox Sports Detroit to the HD channels.

They added Pac-12 Network, Pac-12 Los Angeles, Pac-12 Arizona, Pac-12 Washington, Pac-12 Oregon, Pac-12 Mountain and Pac-12 Bay Area all to the digital tier, but it's not authorized currently. Hopefully Time Warner will be nice and unlock those channels when college football starts. Otherwise, I'm just missing Mountain West Network for major FBS football channels/networks. And, if worst comes to worst, I can just watch MW Network games via their MW Network app on my phone.

You can't ask for a better way to open the college season. Go Griz!

Also there is a really good HS game on later tonight. #1 in the nation De La Salle (CA) @ Trinity (TX)

Another good game just ended. Cleveland Benedictine (Division 4 state champion last season) vs. Toledo Central Catholic (Division 3 state champion last season). It was a hell of a game between two storied programs in Ohio.

Well we know what Gigem is getting for Christmas.

Yeah, they are an actual product made by Adidas.

Steve Patterson is out as Texas AD less than two years on the job. Strong better pick it up or he's going to follow him.

McElwain isn't happy. I think Fred Taylor felt his son getting yelled out after the throat slash gesture.

Taylor shouldn't have done that but talk about over reacting. McElwain looked like a crazy fool.

Agreed, he should have been given a pat on the back and hugs from his teammates. He is special flower and should be given a trophy for expressing himself. All he did was emulate what his father had done so many times. Golly Gee Willikers, that coach is just a big meanie and should be suspended. I did not see the coach yelling at the white players for such celebrations.

Someone find Jessie or Al, we have us a hate crime.

To me, at a school like Florida that has had such an atrocious run as of late, you have to instill an environment where that bullshit isn't tolerated. He overreacted but not by a great lot IMO.

    TRIGGER WARNING that stuff, please.

I am shaking at the thought of another human (that meanie coach) being so insensitive and now your post. You can't call a person expressing himself bullshit. Freedom of expression is essential to freedom of speech. Which is only legitimate if it meets my specific belief system.

/END SJW humor. I feel icky, need a bath.

So a violent hand gesture which harms no one and only simulates violence is grounds for a rage-filled tirade of verbal abuse.

Fake violence is fixed with real violence. Makes sense.

And I never understand how a coach can totally lose control and then rip a player for getting an unsportsmanlike penalty on the field. There were much better ways of handling that.
