    2014-15 NBA Season Talk

New season has started and I'm actually going to try to follow it a bit in hopes I can get hooked on 2K as a sports game series I can play all year around.

Cavs look good Knicks look BAD

So much for CLE looking good.

Westbrook now out for a while for OKC. They are going to need to go on a big run in second half of season when KD & Russ return. Could be a long month or two for them to start the season.

Yeah Lebron was just awful last night although Kyrie and Love looked pretty good. Cleveland's biggest issue is going to be on the defensive end.

Yeah Love and Kyrie have never played any lol

They will be ok I'm sure. If I were the others' as Shaq puts it. I'd do nothing but practice jump shots every single day. The amount of open looks you get while playing with Lebron is insane

And yes I felt this way before hearing Reggie Miller reemphasize it lol

Anyone remember Daniel Gibson? Oh he was just the guy sitting in a court side seat shooting wide open 3's at a 40% clip with usually during that span. In fact he didn't have to do much else. Lasted a full 2 years after and been a FA since.

They definitely need to learn situational basketball.

This especially for Kyrie and Waiters. Being on losing teams has done this

Watching this game with Bulls, it's like they get this itch to go 1 against 3 like "it's my turn"

Can't have your PG be that way especially on a team with Lebron. He will get him all the open shots in the world

It's going to take some time for CLE to gel. In the East though, they can likely sleepwalk into a top four seed. They'll be fine by the postseason, but until then they will have some rough nights.

Speaking of gelling, Miami sure has seemed to find the right combination early on. Bosh seems to thrive in the #1 role much better than the supporting cast. Even though LeBron left, my hate for the Heat still remains as a civic duty of being a Celtics fan

Even though he was getting a ton of open looks in the supporting cast role. When his shots are falling he's money.

But when they aren't he doesn't have many other ways to get open shots since he doesn't post up very well. Unless of course he has a sleuth footed big man on him.

Back to my point about the Cavs though. Irving and Waiters have done the "it's my turn" time basketball on losing teams. Even in the Bulls game I watched them both come down in a crucial point in the game 1 against 3 and force a jump shot, or an ill advised time to take a contested jumper instead of going with the flow of the offense. You know Russell Westbrook type of offense.

The Cavs currently have 4 team assists in this Jazz game. Hahaha

Irving has 21 shot attempts and 0 assists so far

It's 4th quarter with 2+ minutes to go

Edit: 6 total team assists. Lebron had 4 of them lol

Yes the scrutiny will not stop!! This is what happens when you play on a team that Lebron is on

Irving hasn't had an assist in more than six quarters, and he's taken 36 shots in that span.

The Rockets sign Josh Smith after the Pistons somehow released him and his fat contract they're on the hook for. Houston is dangerous.

Houston is absolutely not dangerous at all. Josh Smith is terrible. Atlanta destroyed him. He, for some reason, thinks he's a 3 point shooter now when he's never averaged better than something like 32% from there. It's atrocious. He's just another dude on that team that plays zero defense.

    Couldn't have said it better

Another player Dwight Howard will have to cover for on Defense

Change of scenery might bring the potential out of him.
