I completely forgot about this for this week. Thanks CDJ for getting it posted.

As for games this week, there are actually quite a few games I'm finding interest in this week. Mostly it's games involving direct teams of interest (Navy, Utah State, Tulsa, FIU, Bowling Green), but also some games that should just plain be interesting, even those being played between Big 5 schools. It's gonna be a busy evening for me. Watching Navy on ESPN News, switching over to CBSSN during commercial breaks, and following the Tulsa game on the Fox Sports Go app on my phone. Gonna be football overload tonight.

Jesus, Texas State is the champ at shooting themselves in the foot!

Had the ball at the Navy 10 yard line. Rushed for 8 yards down to the 2 yard. Flag comes out, offensive facemask on the tackle, backs them up 15 yards. Next play, after the play, unsportsmanlike conduct on the tight end, 15 more yards. That sends the Texas State coach into a rage and HE gets an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty called on him, tacking on yet another 15 yards. Texas State went from second down at the two yard line to third and 39 at the 42 yard in two plays.

Then to add insult to injury, after completing a 27 yard pass to the Navy 15 yard line, Texas State misses the field goal.

UCLA QB Brett Hundley hurt. Texas up 10-3 at half in a game of a bad team vs. an overrated one.

At halftime, Texas State already had 8 penalties for 100 yards!

This has not been a good day to not have cable. Really nothing interesting on the broadcast networks.

Navy just set a new school record with 9 consecutive games of 300+ yards rushing.

And Navy, as always, takes the sportsmanship route. Despite having second and goal from inside the one yard line, with only 28 seconds left, Navy takes a knee to run out the clock on a 35-21 win over Texas State.

Texas State really has to work on penalties. Final stats, Bobcats were penalized 11 times for 124 yards. Yikes.

Despite Keenan Reynolds sitting out this week, Navy still showed why defenses still have to respect the pass, as Tago Smith went 5 for 7 for 117 yards and 2 passing touchdowns, one of them coming on a huge 67 yard touchdown pass.

And speaking of Tago Smith, today was his first ever start at QB. Not only at Navy, but first ever in his entire lifetime football career. He was a running back when he came to Navy before becoming Navy's backup QB. A huge day by Smith in his first ever start at QB. 5/7 passing for 117 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for 85 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries. The future of QB at Navy is bright with Smith clearly ready to step in after Keenan Reynolds' reign at QB ends.

Man Florida on offense today was just sloppy but still pulled out a win in 3 rd ot at home.

I'm not sure how much longer Muschamp will have after Bama they will most likely get killed by 21 points maybe less if they can keep up on offense but It will be tough. Offense was getting gassed 4th.

That must be the "I just got shot" fake punt play. Too bad there won't be a new NCAA next summer to have it added in.
