You're really not going to keep playing after you get all the trophies?

I did not last year. It's just not a mode I enjoy (playing randoms with eventually nothing more than 99 OVR players all over the field)

True, but with 3 minute quarters, ratings don't really come into play. Get 2 scores and manage the time properly = win regardless of ratings/random opponents' playing style.

I'll probably stick with it for a bit after I get all the achievements. I think coins should be easier to earn personally, but eh.

Had my first strange play, or CPU shaftage....I was playing the MUT team of the week (preseason) I held the CPU to 2 FGs. Was down 6-0 and I drove the field scored a TD with 0:32 left in the 4th quarter. I kicked off deep the CPU returner turned sideways, like he was "strafing" and proceeded to break 11+ tackles, I just kept bouncing off of him and he ran it back 90 yards for a TD. I could not stop it. BOOOOOOOOOO

Yiur draft pro packs should be in today if your pre ordered them. Out of thr 3 packs I got 5 starters. Not bad.

I got a few gold players but just sold them all. I'm fairly content with my skill players on offense right now:

I had an Elite Bill Walsh coach and I see he's going for a pretty penny, so I'll probably sell him and try to upgrade my defense a bit. After I get the defense upgraded, I'll probably start going exclusively after Elite players only.

I don't buy packs, either. I use my coins in the Auction House. The elite Bill Walsh was from winning the Head to Head Seasons Super Bowl.

Bought 2 packs with coins and pulled Matt Slauson in both of them. Sold them both for 22,000 a piece and then managed to snag a Trent Williams for 41,000. Just need a couple guards, a center, and my line will be complete.

Unless I suddenly gain a new appreciation for MUT - I'll have a fire sell once I whore out all the trophies. Basically all I need is to get to 85 OVR to trigger two styles and then get 2 styles over 40. My team is 82 OVR right now so I need coins in a major way to upgrade LG, DT, MLB

Used some of my coins to get another Mike Evans and complete the Rising Stars set. Not only do I like the +3 OVR and the +14 GP, but I like the hologram overlay on the special card.

Yeah, 83 Mike Evans is a hammer and can be gotten for fairly cheap. Got both a SP and LP for 3,000 each, so 6,000 coins for the Elite version was a steal

6-0 in my 2nd season with a total record of 17-1. I've pulled 3 straight games in a row out of my ass with a game winning TD in the closing seconds, the most recent coming with 4 seconds on the clock. I need Spiller's speed at RB, but I'll be damned if he doesn't cough it up at least once a game.

lol yeah i just pulled a spiller myself and he fumbled 1x in the game i thought it was just b/c the user got lucky with the hit stick but i noticed his carry rating is pretty low

So... I upgraded my DT last night to an 82 OVR and it did not move my team OVR up at all.

All of my starters are now 78+ OVR with almost all of them at least 80 OVR - do I have to have multiple 85+ guys to get the team to be an 85 OVR?
