the riots in Missouri happen and the A's start tanking well enough that the surprising Royals get the home field for that one playoff game that went into glorious extra inning of ad revenue. Where only the night before , the Chiefs had a point explosion against the Patriots.

the Cardinals, Royals and Chiefs all have a fantastic week to distract the masses from their pain with teams that are hardly ever successful except for the Cards here and there.
But oh, look, the major Markets of LA, SF, Washington and Baltimore are all well represented still.

Wow, bumped it a notch there. It was nice of the MLB to have my Pirates make a short appearance. I did a search for "Pittsburgh tragedy" and the only thing that popped up was, "Proximity to Ohio." So no real explanation of why they made the playoffs.

Another Thursday night another blowout. EVERY Thursday night game this season had been a fucking blowout. That is REALLY, REALLY, REALLY REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY GODDAMN DUMB for a league that scripts it's games.
You'd think that the league would be smart enough to script close games on THEIR OWN FLAGSHIP NETWORK particularly early in the season when the games are also shown on CBS.

I probably did vote yes. The stuff I've been posting has been about being a smart ass and making jokes about it.
Some stuff does seem awful weird to be coincidental...in most major sports...Just finding out about steroids in Baseball was like a national secret as if people didn't know about it
Players being paid off to shave points. Who knows if it still happens..but it did at one point.

At any rate in all honestly I don't believe the NFL is staged or rigged, just some odd random occurrences..which pretty sure I stated that already.
Refs also don't help. There are blown calls, then there are these
