The ball flies out a second before the QBs arm goes through the motion.
They have Joe Montana wearing gloves on both hands. Now that is authenticity.
It's the future Joe. There is no Madden VR game.

I'm thinking (hoping?) this was just put out to capture on the VR phase, while it still exists.
This game doesn't appear to include the NFLPA license which it was stated it would have and I thought Grow or someone on the team tweeted NFL 2K5 was an influence. This game looks like nothing much more than a tech demo.

Montana 17 is also the first VR game to be licensed by the NFL Players Association, which allows gamers to play as NFL superstars like Tom Brady, Cam Newton, Odell Beckham Jr., and of course, Montana himself.
“We are happy to team up with Superstar Games and Joe Montana to license this game so that a new generation of gamers can connect with their favorite players in a unique and authentic way,” NFLPA VP of Licensing and Business Development Steve Scebelo said in a statement.
Montana called himself “quality control.”

Wow, I either forgot or didn't know about those details.
I hope that footage is far from finished or else they took their investors to the cleaners, intentional or otherwise.
