Chelsea couldn't take full advantage of City's misfortune yesterday as the Blues played to a 1-1 draw today against Southampton. With the point, Chelsea are 6 points clear of Manchester City and 7 points clear of third-placed Arsenal. The West Londoners also have a game in hand over both the Citizens and the Gunners.

My buddy with the badass bar in his house went to London for the Capital One Cup Final back on March 1st at Wembley to watch the Blues dispatch the shit from the Lane. I just saw him tonight and he brought me and my daughter a few goodies from the match.
Here's a matchday program.

Man City in 4th place in Premier League after loss. Chelsea 7 points above Arsenal, 8 above Man Utd, 9 above City with game in hand.
Edit: Chelsea have inched closer to the Premier League title, with City continually shitting the bed (lost 2-1 to Palace today).

Cesc Fabregas scored the match winner at Loftus Road in the 88th to lift Chelsea to a 1-0 win over QPR today. Chelsea maintains their 7 point lead (with a game in hand) over Arsenal atop the league table, following the Gunners 1-0 win at Burnley yesterday.
The Manchester Derby kicks off in about 30 minutes and I have to think United will be victorious considering the way the sides have played of late.

Biggest match of the season tomorrow between Chelsea and Arsenal. A Chelsea win means the Blues can win the title on Wednesday against Leicester.
An Arsenal win will prolong what should be the inevitable Chelsea title.
I fully expect Jose Mourinho to park the bus and play on the counter tomorrow in search of a 1-0 result. A draw is still a very good result for his side.
Come on, you Blues!

Hey, I'd be happy with a donated win to Leicester. They got a badly needed win today to climb one point out of relegation. Now they need some help to stay out of it.

I'd love to wrap the league up on Wednesday but as long as it happens eventually and Chelsea doesn't blow this massive lead, I'm good.
Leicester has been on a crazy run the last few weeks to get out of the drop zone. It's reminiscent of Sunderland last year.

I'm hoping they can pull it off. It's nice having their games on TV.

A scoreless draw at The Emirates inches Chelsea closer to the league title. They need 6 points from 5 matches to secure it.
The next 2 matches are at Leicester on Wednesday and home to Crystal Palace next Sunday. Wins in both matches would secure the title.
Come on, you Blues!

2014-15 PFA Team of the Year
GK David De Gea (Manchester United)
LB Ryan Bertrand (Southampton)

RB Branislav Ivanovic (Chelsea)
MF Nemanja Matic (Chelsea)
MF Eden Hazard (Chelsea)
MF Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal)
MF Philippe Coutinho (Liverpool)
F Harry Kane (Tottenham)
F Diego Costa (Chelsea)
Surprising to see a team of the year with no players from the defending champions. Sergio Aguero, I think, was caught in a popularity contest with Kane.
Chelsea has 6 of the 11 and strong arguments could be made for 3 more (Courtois, Azpilicueta and Fabregas).
