McDermott won't translate to the NBA IMO. plus I hate Creighton and don't want to root for him.

That's sad if true. If the NBA no longer has room for smart guys that can shoot, pass and score in the post just b/c they are a "-" athlete its no wonder I never watch the NBA any more.

See Jimmer Fredette. Production =/= NBA success.

I ain't mad. He's a head case, but that could be a good thing. Not mad at all with the Smart pick.

    Adam Morrison 2.1

Oh and the Cavs are terrible in their front office. They just don't know what to do with themselves the past 4 lottery picks save for Irving. I'm like Bill Simmons they should banned from being awarded for being a terrible franchise and messing up picks

    +1

Some.college guys just don't make the transition as well. A good percentage of Duke's guys don't either, but they aren't recruited in the same way other school's recruit their players (based off athleticism only basically)

Duke has 4 active players that have played in the all-star game. (Brand, Boozer, Irving and Deng).

    NO OTHER COLLEGE HAS MORE

But hey if you wanna be a fool and go with the stupid argument that Duke doesn't turn out good pros more power to you.

I just find it "odd" that supposed News people on ESPN openly root for their team while covering an event live.

I wanted Gary Harris, saw him up close this season in Nebraska, but I can't argue with the upside of James Young.

LeBron gets his man crush in Napier, so he's staying in Miami.
