This will be boring as shit if the animals are all close to what we have/have had on earth. So far, everything I've seen has been representative of past or present earth creatures.

If the wildlife is extremely varied, this will be amazing.

On top of that you're discovering new elements and chemicals and such too. Not just wildlife. But I agree. There has to be some wild shit on far away planets to make it interesting.

Their own version of a periodic table, you have to upgrade your suit and ship to survive on some planets, you have to upgrade your weapon to farm certain materials. Damn this is the game I've been looking for.

Sony's Paris Games Week is going on now, and rumor has it that a "very near future" release date will be announced for this finally.

Define very near future. 2015, this decade, PS5?

What exactly is the sticking point with this game? It looks great and they have been showing it for close to two years. What is the problem with a release date?

Small development team with ambitious game. I knew there was trouble when it was not listed as playable for the PS Experience in December.

For people like me, I like massive games where I can explore, get lost, and kill time with. That's why I love the Elder Scroll and Fallout games, and Destiny. There are going to be infinite places to explore and try to discover elements and wildlife and etc.

It can't be a delay if a release date was never announced in the first place
