Xbox One - Questions & General Comments on Console

Yeah, I have quite a few games on the "100" list. All of the Halos, all of the Assassin's Creeds, Ghost Recon Future Soldier, Civilization Revolution, Fable 2 and 3, HAWX, Just Cause 2 and Splinter Cell: Conviction.

Of course, I'm still waiting on the official 100 list from MS.

I dunno how much I will use it outside of probably Mass Effect and Gears. Otherwise, I'd have to go buy the discs.

The backwards game I want most (after NCAA 14) is LA Noire. I don't know if it will be but the game is solid. I watched others play it but never ad my own copy. Sadly, the studio that mde the game went out of business so no part 2 is in the works.

I have LA Noire. Boring as shit. I probably got 1/3 through the game before I quit.

I don't know what. Licensing wise, they still sell the bloody game in stores and online on 360 and PSN itself. All you're doing is playing a bloody emulation of the 360 game on an emulation of the 360 software. It'd be no different than me buying a digital copy right now on my 360 and playing it whenever I feel like because I don't want to bother with a disc anymore.

I bet there is more to it than that. Plus EA has to agree.

From the looks of the retail games, the only one I would want that I don't have is Burnout Paradise. I might even drop $15 for the digital copy to play through it again.

Well, if there is specifics that have to be worked out, or EA is never going to agree to it being BC (or doing anything that they may have to do to make it BC), then they need to just come out and say so so we can all stop wasting our time hoping for it to get added.

Guys - I HIGHLY doubt EA's legal would EVER sign off on allowing MS to put NCAA on XB1. Its just asking for another lawsuit and may arguably violate the terms of their settlement with O'bannon et al.

Moreover, if it does violate the settlement EA could NEVER tell you the consumer about it (virtually all settlement agreements have non disclosure clauses)

Allowing the game to be played on a new platform is like releasing a new game. It is likely that the platforms that each game existed on were mentioned in the settlement and that some scummy attorney is sitting around waiting to sue again (or call a violation of the settlement) when the game is playable on a new platform.

"We didn't sue for NCAA 14 on Xbox One. Better lawyer up and grab the cash for that one too."
