That was interesting, with under 40 seconds and a 5-1 lead why Colorado had anyone other then their 4th line out there is crazy.

Was it a knee or a hip/shoulder?? Lovejoy it appears to me to be hip/shoulder. Was it right, no but I have no qualms with either side being upset.

I definitely wasn't expecting a Stanley Cup this year anyways

Forbes has come out with the most valuable franchises.

Leafs are 1st with $1.15B, followed by the Rangers, Canadiens, Canucks, Blackhawks, and Bruins.

Just saw that. I've never understood how the Leafs are so valuable. They haven't won the Cup since 1967 (to put that in perspective, that is a longer drought than the Flyers). While they've won 13 Cups (pre-expansion era Cups are pretty meaningless) Montreal has 23 and surely is more popular in Canada. I know winning isn't the only factor, but winning leads to popularity, popularity leads to $$$.

Montreal has Ottawa to compete with as a close neighbor. Toronto pretty much owns that section of Canada and may pull in some US fans.

Yeah, but that is like saying Chelsea has Fulham to compete with as a close neighbor. No one gives a shit about Ottawa, compared to Montreal. Ottawa is relatively irrelevant.

Is it just the fact that it's the top game in town with these Canadian teams?

Yeah, I'm sure that plays a role. But, still, Toronto hasn't won anything in almost 50 years.
