If you missed it, Real Madrid wound up destroying Atletico Madrid in Extra Time, winning the UEFA Champions League for the 10th time, 4-1.

Also on Saturday, QPR won 1-0 over Derby County to win the Football League Championship Promotion Playoff. Queens Park will return to the Barclay's Premier League after spending just one season in the League Championship.

How many leagues do you keep track of? I have a hard enough time following the EPL.

I follow the EPL, Capital One Cup, FA Cup, UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League fairly closely. The EPL, obviously, very closely.

I keep an eye on La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, the FLC, MLS and, to a lesser degree, Liga MX.

Most of my time is devoted to watching whatever competitions Chelsea are in. Now that I work for myself, I was able to watch all of their matches this season except maybe 2 of their early League Cup matches.

Lampard confirms that his days at Stamford Bridge are over. No surprise, but it's still the departure of a Chelsea legend.

Apparently the US has been told to be ready for the 2022 World Cup should Qatar be stripped of it if the corruption allegations are true.

US soccer president has denied that report, but of course he would regardless. It'll be interesting to see what happens the next couple months. With as many stadiums as this country has, we can easily host it, probably in California.

I, quite honestly, am not as much about the US getting it as I am about Qatar losing it.

Yeah, what the hell they were thinking in the first place even giving it to Qatar (unless the corruption allegations are true), hell only knows.
