I liked the star trek reboot as well. I guess by purest I meant I like godzilla to at least resemble the old big guy. I don't need a zipper showing on the suit or bad dubbing....just did not like that last one.

That movie is very good. I suggest you try again if you liked the others.

Watched World's End last night with Simon Peg. Terrible movie. What I expected from the movie but the ending was really disappointing I thought the could have ended it a little better, maybe with
    Spoiler: show
him actually completing the Golden Mile and it reversing the effect on all the people that have been replaced and killed all of the aliens or something. Could have had that map he had with some secret message on it or something. Really seemed like that's what they were leading it to but it didn't end that way.

I know nobody is probably ever going to watch the movie but put the spoilers on to be safe

So, basically Shaun of the Dead? I liked it considerably better the first time I watched it than I do now. Girlfriend hated it

Went to see American Sniper tonight.

Really enjoyed it. Already knew how the story ended but still crazy to see how they portrayed it.

Want to read the book sometime

Bradley Cooper did a good job

Saw Gone Girl. Way too long for an average movie. I had no idea it was 2.5 hours! It was weird as well as interesting but I think it tried too hard. This isn't a classic like Seven or anything like that. When a movie feels too long I can't give it a great score. 7/10.

I powered through. It really did get much better. The first half is really bad though. Too slow. It definitely picks up when the bounty hunters arrive. Too many "close calls" for my liking. I detest it when a TV show or a movie does the "You're going to die on 3......1-2-DISTRACTION!" thing. Everyone already knows they aren't going to die so what's the point and Riddick had at least 3 of those moments.

How many Riddick movies are there?

Pitch Black, Chronicles of Riddick right? Or is there a 3rd?

I enjoyed those movies, didn't know there was a 3rd if there is. Last one I seen was when he became the ruler of the Necromongers after he killed the dude that could warp to different spots

Wife added the movie channels back on our DTV subscription so I've been trying to watch everything I missed out on past 2 days lol

    Transcendence
    Godzilla
    Ender's Game
The Wolverine (thought I seen this but unsure)
    2 Guns
    300 Rise of Empire

Just to name a few I've recorded last night haha

There's a 3rd movie in rotation on Cinemax called Riddick.

Yeah I saw it showing earlier today while looking for some movies. Wasn't sure if that's the one I seen or not. About to record it

Maybe I have seen them all lol.

Remember the guy named Tooms? Or something like that. And being in that prison undeground.

Ah ok. About to try to watch it at work. Damn thought for sure I seen that one, but that was just me wanting to see it lol.

Watched Godzilla and 2 Guns lastnight. 2 Guns was decent. Godzilla was eh, I like those types of movies but it was just OK. It was better than that one released some 10-15 years or however long ago though

Just watched Runner Runner on HBO Go. Another movie I wanted to see when it came out

I enjoyed it, All the movies I've seen Timberlake in he's done a good job in IMO although they all seem similar.

Well back to my movie binge. I haven't gotten anything done at work past 2 days really haha

It was long, but I definitely didn't feel like it was average. Really enjoyed it, though it was a bit of a mindfuck.

I'll catch gone girl off redbox. Book was good although both characters were unlikeable.

    Finally watched Riddick

Not bad, though I liked Pitch Black the best

I knew I recognized Dave Bautista's name, although I don't follow wrestling. Couldn't help but wonder if Riddick's line "now we test the ground game" was in reference to his MMA career.

Have to see what's next on the movie binge menu for tomorrow while at work
