Someone needs to update the thread title (or do we need a separate XB1/PS4 thread)?

Nothing all that new but it sounds great. IGN ARTICLE:

The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of FIFA 14 are the first to utilize Electronic Arts' next-gen engine, EA Sports IGNITE. Designed to harness the massive processing power of these new consoles, these versions of EA Sports add new features not seen in previous versions of the game.
◾PRO INSTINCTS: All 22 players on the pitch possess the intelligence to anticipate and react instinctively to the play around them with human-like reaction times, just like world class footballers.
◾LIVING WORLDS: FIFA 14 will have stunning accuracy and visuals. The world inside the stadium comes alive as the emotions of new 3D crowds rise and fall around the stories on the pitch.
◾PRECISION MOVEMENT: With 10 times more animation depth and detail, players now plant, pivot and cut, change direction and shift their momentum with the agility and explosiveness of elite athletes.
◾ELITE TECHNIQUE: Harnessing the power next gen consoles, FIFA 14 delivers hundreds of new skills and behaviors, including side volleys, first-time screamers, off-balance shots, touch passes, and panic turns when defenders are beaten.

Career Mode - Search for talent year-round with the new Global Transfer Network that brings the world of professional scouting to life. Develop and refine your own scouting network. Evaluate soccer players to uncover the attributes of players who could bolster your squad during the transfer windows. A new hub delivers easy navigation, fewer interruptions and live scouting reports.
Steeler is this also in the 360/ps3 game or is this a next gen addition?

A great clip of the breakdown of the actual gameplay. This is similar to the one above but has more depth.

    Sounds very good.

When playing FIFA 14 on Xbox One and PS4, fans will feel the electricity of a living stadium, and experience the majesty of the world’s greatest football theatres. From dramatic broadcast-inspired stadium flyovers to emotional pre-match ceremonies, fans will see and feel the match like never before. A new feature called Match Flow will revolutionize the FIFA experience, delivering dynamic and continuous gameplay. Players will interact with side-line characters such as ball boys so they can get the ball back into play as the clock winds down and the pressure mounts and fans will witness the build-up and player positioning prior to corners or free kicks.

    From Pasta Padre.

The new trailer is accompanied by some additional information related to next-gen. The game will include 121 different broadcast cameras outside and within the stadium to provide for new replay angles and to follow player and match storylines. Also for the first time there will be authentic home and away crowd chants.

I see a PS4 in Steeler's future. The commissioner's hat is still yours if you want it.

No question, I'll get a PS4 at some point. I'm just hoping that the extra processing power allows for a true connected career mode that can keep up no matter what club or country any of the managers is controlling. I'm sure it can be done, I just hope it happens soon.

We do need to get a TGT league going again. I had more fun with that than I do with the offline career mode as I never could find a good set of sliders that worked for me.
