This game looks really cool! I just hope it turns out good, with all the delays and push backs it would be really cool if they could get it right and release a quality finished product. I like the looks of the game.
People seem down on this title. Hopefully it ends up good.
Hopefully these are legit thoughts because looking deeper into the game, I think I might get it day one. Got a $50 Amazon card for Christmas, and with the 20% prime savings, that covers it.

Definite buy for me. Glad to see the March release date.
A really good video that describes everything.
I played the alpha. The AI was pretty aggressive and appeared to be reasonably smart. They didn't sit in one place and let you just pick them off one at a time for the most part, they'd move on you and close the gap to try to pin you.
I didn't really interact with any other online players. Felt a little lost in the game in that regard, as the alpha just threw you in the game with no idea WTF is going on. I didn't get to play much due to time to experiment and find out more.
Gunplay seemed pretty good, but it is not a hoser game like CoD of course. The environment and game looks gorgeous.
I'm a little scared that solo play will be deep enough/good, as I really don't play multiplayer very much.
I think it's a definitely get for me at this point. Especially with nothing else even on the radar the first half of the year outside of Uncharted 4. Unless No Man's Sky drops down out of nowhere.

Hehe, I'm 40+ games down, plus Quantum Break is coming out, Unravel is pre-ordered, Walking Dead: Michonne, Hitman.........but yeah, agree, decided to pull the trigger on Division also.
I dunno it sounds great but the lack of any real info on this game 2 months out scares me a bit.
The beta is supposed to come out at the end of January so you can judge for yourself.
The map shown in previous videos will not be in the game at launch.
Despite earlier trailers showing scenes set in Brooklyn, Tom Clancy's The Division will be entirely set within midtown Manhattan at the game's launch, the game's creative director said.
In an interview with the Examiner on Friday, and later in a video with Open World Games, Magnus Jansen said the game is sticking to midtown Manhattan because "of the 1-to-1 recreation" of that environment, which should still offer plenty of territory for an open-world game.
There's a narrative reason for it, too, Jansen said; the pandemic that has wiped out New York has cut off even interborough travel.
Nothing would seem to rule out other areas being added to the game later; The Division will have a program of premium DLC promising "major expansions," and a season pass available for purchase covers all of it. Still, the absence of Brooklyn is a notable change from the first glimpses of the game given three years ago.

Just preordered this game to get the beta. Anyone else planning on playing the beta? It launches this Friday (Jan. 29th).
I know my kids will. I've never gotten into the online only gaming world (for the most part) but this third person shooter may help.
Just won a beta key for this, so I'll be playing
Still waiting for my key to be sent.
