So it has been confirmed at OS that in CCM there is NO COACH MODE and you cannot simply watch cpu vs cpu in CCM.

After reading/watching all of these reviews I think I most relate to gametrailers. It's a good video if you haven't checked it out.

I liked this review, it seems to be a non biased, covers all the aspects review.

From Canadian gamers online... I think this is the perfect summary.

"There is no question that on its own, Madden NFL 13 is a terrific game but so was Madden NFL 12 and NFL 11. The additions of Connected Careers, the new Infinity Engine, and the new broadcasting tandem of Nantz and Simms will be embraced by many, but at the end of the day it is still a Madden game. If you have been away from the franchise for a few years Madden NFL 13 is a safe bet. As for those hardcore Madden faithful they will pick up the game regardless. Yet if you are a casual Madden fan who already owns Madden NFL 12, you may just want to wait until next year but that is your decision to make. Don’t get me wrong, Madden 13 is a great game as evidenced by the review score but the franchise has yet to make that leap where gamers can call this the definitive Madden experience."

No mixed or negative reviews for either PS3 or 360 so far on Metacritic.

    OS thinks highly of Madden.

Honestly I've played enough of Madden and NCAA to say I still think NCAA is a better overall game than Madden. Madden simply cannot touch the depth/fun factor of running a college dynasty. I also think that NCAA's game play is far less buggy than Madden's as the infinity engine is interesting but I've seen far too many "Matrix" type things to make it feel "sim".

You mean the animations. The game play itself on Madden is astronomically better than NCAA. The game is smoother, zones react more realistically(although they're still highly retarded in both), man coverage doesn't run routes ahead of receivers on Madden, etc...

The features in NCAA are good, but the game play sucks. Bad. The features in Madden are lacking but the game play is the best it's been since the PS2 days. It all comes down to preferences. Personally, if I had to watch one more DB running a route ahead of my receiver, I was going to snap the disc. Things like that are just unforgivable.

I hate to tell you IOU but against the cpu in CCM you still regularly see the DB running in front of the WR on the slants. But overall I do agree with you that gameplay in madden is superior last year and this year. It's just too bad they gutted so much from the game or this will be a stellar title.

I've played 10 games online and spent another 10 hours or so in practice and I haven't seen it once. They will occasionally run almost side by side, but I have yet to see a DB literally running in front of the receiver. On NCAA, it's an every down thing. It's so severe on some occasions that there's a 3 or 4 yard lead for the DB. Made me sick to my stomach. Not to mention it completely kills any offense that passes a good bit of the time.

The pass rush is my only complaint thus far, and it's a massive one. I'm baffled at how long it takes the pass rush to get to the QB. It's unacceptable.

I'm not sure how. You can hardly do anything in Madden besides read tweets, play games, and trade players.
