since we're using these in this site's 360 od, i decided to test these out in an offline game vs the cpu. pretty good set, imo....

i think the user and cpu qb accuracy could even more. i ran a hurry up offense, going as fast as i possibly could with ASU, yet michael eubank (who has an 80 throw accuracy) was 44 of 56, and the virginia qb (84 accuracy) was 25-32. those were the only stats that i took down, but i know that i easily could have completed 3-4 of those 12 incompletions i had (kinda panicked on the sticks).

Thanks, buddy. I haven't played the game much in a week or so and I haven't updated these sliders to reflect what I'm currently using. That said, I'll gladly take any feedback and stats you have.

Steeler, we need to get you passionate about NCAA football again. You need to put down the FIFA 12 for a week and walk away... lol

I know! It's tough! I've had my daughter all month and all she wants to do is play GTA IV when my PS3 is on, lol. Add to that, the TGT FIFA League, and my own desire to keep my Career Mode going with FIFA, and my NCAA time has been VERY limited.

That's gonna be the thing for me. The day comes that I pretty much stop buying or playing NCAA, it's not going to be because of bugs or glitches. It's gonna be because of other games. FIFA, NHL, NBA 2K, as well as side games like Ghost Recon, Halo, etc. And then throw in Crusader Kings II on PC (which has already logged over 65 hours from me, according to Steam, since July 13th) for good measure.

Nice job steelerfan the sliders are working great for me. The only thing i changed was holding which i moved down to 40 but other than that everything seems fine.

Thanks. They're not final. I haven't had as much time for NCAA as I did last year, but I'm still working towards getting then ironed out.

I love it at 30 for speed threshold, very realistic. I have been comparing my speed for RB and WR vs the def players to see if I get run down or not and it seems to be good.

Great job as always SF. You do a great job with sharing with everyone! Thanks!

After watching my WR get run down by a DE today, I think I may also be lowering the threshold back to 30 (which is the setting I have used for the last few years)

I've always played with the speed threshold at 0.

    Thanks.

I should have more time to play this month so, hopefully, I can get these fine tuned.

I made a bunch of changes to the first post to reflect what I'm currently using. I'm going to start a Dynasty with the Irish to test them out more in-depth. I'll post results and any tweaks as I go.

The Irish go to 2-0 with a hard fought win over Purdue, 31-22. Crazy how close some of the stats are. I shut TerBush down in the second half. He was 13-15 for 251 and a TD at the half. In the second half he was just 3-10 for 31 yards a score and a lost fumble.

Here's a look at the numbers:

    Stat: Purdue/ND
    First Downs: 14/14
    Total Offense: 371/369
    Rush-Yds-TD: 31-89-0/39-191-2
    Comp-Att-TD: 16-25-2/14-22-2
    Passing: 282/178
    3rd Downs: 4-13/4-13
    4th Downs: 2-2/2-2
    2-pt: 0-1/0-0
    RZ-TD-FG: 4-1-3/2-2-0
    Turnovers: 1/0
    Fumbles Lost: 1/0
    Intercepted: 0/0
    Penalties: 4-25/1-10
    TOP: 15:53/21:17
    Sacked: 6/4

Steeler, I don't think the QB accuracy impacts the game at all. The slider seems to do nothing IMO. My 3rd string QB who is a 62 can pass the ball just as effectively as my starter who is an 86. The only time I see any change is when the player is rattled (blue bubble) or in heavy rain/wind.

Crazy game. I won, at Michigan State, 24-17. They had a goal-to-go situation with under 2 minutes remaining and I stopped them on downs. There were 5 turnovers (rain) and I didn't record a single sack (wtf?!) despite the fact that they ran about 6 slip screens. Two of those screens went for their only 2 touchdown (again, wtf?!). Those screens covered 59 and 13 yards.

Here's a look at the numbers:

    Stat: ND/MSU
    First Downs: 13/15
    Total Offense: 361/402
    Rush-Yds-TD: 38-91-0/28-130-0
    Comp-Att-TD: 15-26-3/17-36-2
    Passing: 270/272
    3rd Downs: 7-15/7-15
    4th Downs: 0-1/0-2
    2-pt: 0-0/0-0
    RZ-TD-FG: 2-0-1/3-1-1
    Turnovers: 2/3
    Fumbles Lost: 0/2
    Intercepted: 2/1
    Penalties: 2-20/6-33
    TOP: 20:37/15:23
    Sacked: 3/0

I lost at home to Michigan, 34-31. I took the lead with 1:26 to go, but the Wolverines responded, and went back in front, with 0:31 to play. Typical of the last few between these two.

Here's a look at the numbers:

    Stat: UM/ND
    First Downs: 19/17
    Total Offense: 421/397
    Rush-Yds-TD: 41-196-3/35-137-1
    Comp-Att-TD: 17-26-1/18-32-2
    Passing: 225/260
    3rd Downs: 3-11/7-13
    4th Downs: 1-1/0-1
    2-pt: 0-0/0-0
    RZ-TD-FG: 5-3-2/4-2-1
    Turnovers: 2/4
    Fumbles Lost: 1/1
    Intercepted: 1/3
    Penalties: 3-15/0-0
    TOP: 17:24/25:33
    Sacked: 9/0

41 rushing attempts for UM that's a lot! 9 Sacks by ND was the Michigan QB alive at the end of the game?

You have to remember that 9 of their 41 rushes are those sacks. When you face a scrambling QB, this will happen. I think Robinson had 21 carries. It just sucks that I can't keep from sacking him so much because he always looks to run.
