Houston Cougars - where will we play our home dates "in the game"?

UH's Robertson Stadium was demolished last Dec to make way for the Coogs new stadium scheduled to open in 2014. According to a statement released by UH AD Mack Rhodes in early March "We anticipate most of our games will be played at Reliant Stadium but at this point in time we can't say for sure until (the Texans) schedule is released".

Having said that, does anyone know (or could someone with connections please inquire ) how EA plans to handle this? Thanks.

I would guess Robertson Stadium will live on (virtually) for one more year in NCAA 14.

That's been the case for Washington in NCAA 13 while Husky Stadium was being renovated. The team likes to keep the 'home stadium' (even if outdated/gone) versus having them play in a neutral site/temporary location for the duration of a Dynasty.

Good point. Iirc they did the same thing for Cal during their rennovation project. We'll see.
Edit: I assume that would have to be two years, since the real stadium won't be finished until the fall of 2014.

Damn. Which means it's too late for them to get it in NCAA 14.

Eh, ultimately it doesn't matter for me. After 6 years at Tulsa (after I complete these last two years on my current contract), all during NCAA '13, I'm planning on leaving Tulsa for a new team to continue my coaching carousel dynasty on NCAA '14. So even if it did make it into NCAA '14, I wouldn't be around to see it unless I go to Tulsa for either a non-conference or conference game.

The Tulsa field art was not able to make it in time, but we were able to do a lot of field art updates. There are some pretty neat ones that schools do.

Yeah, it's good Wisey, I knew it wouldn't be able to get in this year. Still looking forward to what's in store for the game in NCAA '14.

Yup, we're in the same boat with WSU's renovation, where it won't be done until the Summer of '14 and I don't anticipate them getting it into '15. All I care is that they scanned the upgraded pressbox for LAST SEASON and get that in! Makes a major difference for me in playing with my team in '14.

Any news on stadium upgrades? Or when will that come down the pipes?

That's pretty epic... And Wyoming just started the whole field art revolution... uniwatch 8.0 just became fieldartwatch 1.0
