Yeah, but why do that when you can get a 250gb one for ~$300 from most places now (got mine for $299 from a seller at Amazon that's basically brand new and comes with a HDMI cable as well - not that they aren't retarded cheap to buy as well)?
I basically decided to get the 250gb one just cause why not pay the extra $50 or $60 for it? All the Black Friday deals I could find were the same price and all they came with was one game I wanted (Uncharted 2) and two games I didn't give a damn about. So, instead, I paid $35 more for Uncharted 2 and got the 250gb PS3 instead.

Only $56 right now, which is insane considering the list price for a DualShock 3 is $55. I've already got far too many DS3 controllers, but if anybody is looking for a new one, that's a great deal.

At 8:15 PM CT tonight, it looks like a wave of sports games on the Amazon Black Friday Gold Box deals.
Guesses based on descriptions: NBA Jam, FIFA/PES, Madden, MMA, NCAA Football, Smackdown vs. RAW, NHL.
Your probably right. I do NOT understand the deals being released at various times of the day. Seems to me that to get the most sales you would announce them before hand and just sell them until you run out.
That's how Amazon does all of their lightning deals.
And if they did it your way, they would have all run out at 3 am this morning. Killzone, Infamous, 3D Dot Game Heroes, and the other deals all sold out within minutes. I don't think they have many that are available at the really special price. The Lightning Deals go above and beyond the price-matching that they already did for most of the games on sale at other retailers.

Amazon.com still has James Bond Blood Stone (PS3 only) for $34.99. I asked my wife to get it for me for Christmas. I'm lucky in that my brother works in Detroit so we can buy stuff from Amazon.com and have them ship it there. They won't ship to Canada and Amazon.ca is much more limited in what they offer (no TVs, etc).
