Miami is not going to a bowl this season, self-imposing a ban that school officials say was "necessary" in response to an ongoing NCAA investigation into the university's compliance practices.

You are going to really hate the computers then. They love Okie State and many of the projections have them only moving down two spots to #4.

lol, compared to the usc case and if everything regarding miami is true, miami shouldnt go to a bowl for like 10 years, since thats the span of time that shapiro was involved with the program and said he was giving gifts to recruits.

Jesus christ, it's all such a fuckin' sham. I don't know why I even waste my time with college football anymore.

Can you imagine the TV audience you would get for Playoff Bracket Announcements with FBS schools? Would make the March Madness Brackets look like an afterthought.

Exactly. The amount of money to be made by schools (and, thus, conferences) would be ginormous. There is, literally, no reason to not have a playoff in college football.

depending on the size of the bracket, you could reward all of the other teams in the country, by keeping the smaller bowls. plus, you could have the playoff teams play in the current bcs bowl stadiums, with kind of a rotating schedule of where the later rounds are played. the ncaa and playoff schools would actually make more money from this, than the current bcs system.

How is a 6-4 Texas team still ranked in the BCS (#25)? An offense that has generated 18 points in the last two games.

The same way a 7-4 Auburn team is ranked. They've gotten spanked by every ranked team that they've played.

    L Arkansas 38-14
    L LSU 45-10
    L Georgia 45-7

They did beat SC 16-13 though. I guess since the teams in the SEC are all so good you still get credit for getting pounded.

And here's a big problem with SEC bias and preseason rankings. Mississippi State was ranked #16 in week 2 when they played Auburn. They are 5-6 and 1-6 in conference.

It's all a bunch of bullshit. Apparently, unless Alabama loses and LSU gets WHACKED by Arkansas and/or Georgia, it's going to be the most boring MNC game EVER. 6-3 final here we come!

Whatever it takes to continue the streak of consecutive national champions from the SEC, whether they deserve it or not.

    There are reasons.

But none of them are good enough.

A&M attempting to blow another lead.....well on their way right now.

  18. #18
That was tough for me to watch. My hate for Texas is strong but my dislike of A&M grew for leaving the Big 12. Still wanted A&M to pull it out. That personal foul on that last drive was B.S but they still choked away another lead.

I was glad to see it. I'm not a Texas fan at all, but I'll take them over aTm any day.
