No fuckin' way WVU should still be getting top 25 votes. Our defense plays like a fuckin' junior varsity squad. It's sickening to watch them struggle to stop shitty teams. If we don't have a MAJOR influx of talent before 2012, we're FUCKED in the Big XII.

God damn it, these fuckin' polls piss me off. I swear to fuckin' god if Alabama gets in the MNC game after getting beaten by a horribly inept offense like LSU, I'm gonna be pissed. Fuck I hate college football's lame ass attempts at determining a National Champion.

And Nebraska still in the top 25 is total bullshit. Losing to fuckin' Northwestern does not mean you are still a top 25 team. I don't give a shit how good people think Northwestern MIGHT have been earlier in the season, they were 3-5 (1-4) before that game. That's bullshit.

I was about to say the same thing. Granted it was an overtime game with only a 3 point difference, but the offenses still sucked ass and Alabama still lost. When Wisconsin lost, they dropped from 4th to 12 (6th to 15th in the BCS). When Oklahoma lost, they dropped from 3rd to 11th (3rd to 9th in the BCS). When Clemson lost, they dropped from 6th to 11th (5th to 11th in the BCS). Alabama loses and they drop from 2nd to 4th (2nd to 3rd in the BCS). Absolute bullshit. They really will do anything to set up a LSU-Alabama rematch in the BCS NC game.

If we end up with a LSU-Alabama rematch in the NC game, especially if there's an undefeated Stanford or Boise State (I think Oklahoma will knock out Oklahoma State), then I am calling absolute bullshit and will never watch or attend another NCAA football game until this bullshit system (and these bullshit fucking hacks that create and vote in these polls) are all fucking tossed from existence.

And Boise State keeps getting fucked over, first with Wisconsin jumping them (and knocking them down to 5th the BCS) back in week 6, then when they finally overtake Wisconsin again in week 8, Oklahoma State goes and jumps them. They get back up to 4th in week 9 when Wisconsin loses, only to have Stanford jump them the next week. They refuse to even let Boise State have a chance at the NC game, putting every team in front of them that they can each week.

What REALLY sucks for Boise State was last year was the year for them. I seriously doubt any team in another BCS game could have beaten Boise State last year, but they blew it against Nevada (more specifically, their kicker blew it). Unfortunately, for them, their defense is pretty terrible this year, but, again, they should have the chance for it if everyone else ends up losing or even there is just one other no-loss team. This hypocrisy that is the current way of determining a championship game is just utter bullshit and it's infuriating to see good teams that deserve a chance get fucked out of it.

I swear, I'd be willing to bet this is going to be the first time ever that a team has been ranked in the top 5 at the beginning of the season, won every game in the season, and won't make it to the National Title. It's the most rigged system I've ever seen (besides American politics, that is).

I'd go so far as to state right now, that even if every single current undefeated team, other than Boise State, loses, they'll still find a way to put and keep two 1-loss teams in front of an undefeated Boise State so they'll keep the Broncos out of the title game.

I wouldn't doubt it at all man. It's what happened to Utah and Boise State in 2008. Both got TOTALLY fucked out of the MNC game by 1 lose teams, nevermind the fact that both went undefeated. In the case of Utah, they beat the same amount of ranked teams that Florida had played that year (which destroyed the whole bullshit Strength of Schedule argument), but, guess who got to play in the MNC game? The Tebow hype machine was in full swing at that point. But, that season was a total clusterfuck.

Check out these fuckin' USA Today standings before and after the bowl games:

    Before:

    1 Oklahoma (31) 12-1 1482

    21 Florida State 9-4 246
    22 Georgia Tech 9-4 223
    23 West Virginia 9-4 144
    24 Michigan State 9-4 138
    25 Brigham Young 10-3 137

Look at Alabama's ranking. They dropped 1 spot in the polls after getting TROUNCED in the BCS Bowl against Utah 31-17. ONE FUCKIN' SPOT!

What's really fuckin' golden about it all? The week before the end of the season, they lost in the SEC Championship Game to Florida, 31-20. Again, not a close game at all. Guess what, Alabama dropped to 4th. Guess where Boise State and Utah were in that poll (who, mind you, were both still undefeated at that point and finished with their seasons at that point) 9th and 7th respectively. Utah, again, who had beaten their fair share of ranked teams during their season, got completely snubbed by SEC elitism.

But, no, there shouldn't be a playoff at all. Nope, never!

The Penn St fans have been a bit quite lately. I have seen some good titles for the upcoming matchup.

    Personal fav
    Judas vs Sodom and Gomorrah

Gotta roll with the Huskers on this one, the stuff that happened at Penn St is something you would see out of pretty much any episode of Law and Order that features the Catholic Church.

UL Lafayette vs Arkansas State for all the Sun Belt marbles. ULL is already pretty much guaranteed the New Orleans Bowl but if there is a 3-way tie (between ULL, ASU & WKU), then there would still be a chance ASU would be left out in the cold come bowl season (despite us currently having 7 wins). If we win out, then obviously we control everything and finish 10-2 (we've never won 7 games in a season this stint in FBS/highest division). For some reason it's not currently scheduled to be on TV (I can't imagine the SBC network wouldn't put this one on) but it will be on ESPN3 at 2pm CT for anyone interested in watching.

I will definitely keep track of it, if nothing else.

I've just been thinking about how bad I felt watching that gasoline-thief-thug, Ryan Broyles, cry on the sideline after tearing up his knee on Saturday.

So it's official, the MAC does not play defense. Good lord. Last week Northern Illinois beats Toledo 63-60. Last night, Toledo beats Western Michigan 66-63. That's a 126 points in two games scored by Toledo, and 126 points in two games scored against Toledo.
